We do expect the refrigerator to make some sounds at it operates, and if it may be helpful we have information about what sounds the unit may make on page 45 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. Everything seems right except the motor tends to run loud at times (even though I haven't opened the door or added food items) and also I wish the ice reservoir and a larger capacity. Or had a compartment in the freezer section to store extra ice.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the first one delivered with 5 days of ordering didnt work. never got cold fridge or freezer. called next day after delivery, would take almost 2 1/2 weeks to get me an exchange. no real care by best buy for inconvenience, no expedite for customer care, no discount for having to go buy ice in middle of summer for 2+ weeks. by time i looked at home depot and lowes for order it was same delivery date. pick your poison. first appliance buy with BB a fail for me all around. delivery guys were great that's my 2 stars.

I WENT TO BEST BUY AND THEY ORDERED IT, DELIVERED AND INSTALLED BY JANUARY 10TH!!! IT IS AMAZING. THANK YOU BEST BUY

Very disappointed in the product as well as the service i have recieved thus far

So glad we changed from a side by side to this. We were afraid the ice maker couldn’t keep up with our family in the Texas heat…the ice maker is doing great. No complaints!
