Ice maker and water do not work Ge hasn’t been able to solve problem

Can't say enough good things. Eye level viewing with the upper refrig, is great for these old bones, Lower freezer holds much more then I had imagined it would. The LED lighting is wonderful! Frig runs quiet .Ice maker works great and quieter then I had expected. Inside frig H2o is not kid friendly, but works well when I don't multi task. The water spout could me a bit longer, but not a problem when I pay attention to what I'm doing! I've only had the frig a little over a month, but so far I am very pleased with my purchase!

The refrigerator is quite beautiful. I am very happy with the aesthetics and it compliments my black and steel appliances very well. The ice maker and cold water dispenser are working well and I appreciate the extra large ice drawer, as we frequently entertain and are no longer running out of ice for a dinner party of 8. All in all, it's a good purchase, however.... I don't like the shelf placements. If you put two shelves on the closest bracket, there is not even enough room to put an egg carton. Unless it is one pizza, there's nothing you can store. That means, you have to remove a shelf completely if you want to store the milk in the back of the frig as recommended for longer shelf life. The ONLY place a gallon of milk fits is in the door. You could place it on the retractable shelf, but you lose space at eye level and it is still not stored in the back of the refrigerator. This design flaw requires more space between the shelves for more options for placement. I am still happy with the frig, mostly.

We really enjoy the water feature inside the fridge. It's compact enough for our small kitchen. But it also does a great job maximizing the internal storage. We are pleased with it so far and its meets our family needs.

The refrigerator fits in our small space and the counter is directly across so a normal freezer top andbottom refrigerator wouldn't work well. My wife is height challenged at 4'10" and she likes the shelf system and bottom freezer, i keep all my beer and food i like on the top shelf. Our old LG had better glider on the bottom but it works well for opening and closing. Don't like the water dispenser inside but it's about 8 ounces of cold water and easy to fill using two hands...and my kids won't be tempted to squirt water on the ground anymore.

If I had received a working fridge on the first delivery, this would have gotten a much higher rating. Unfortunately, it took 3 tries and over a week for my family to get a working fridge. The fridge was ordered on 12/12 with delivery scheduled on 12/16. The delivery was at the very tail end of the delivery window. One of the delivery men tracked snow in my house and then set the new fridge in the snow. Once plugged in, the fridge seemed to cool initially but we couldn't tell about the freezer. On 12/17, it was noticeable that the fridge was not cold enough and the freezer wasn't functioning at all. I called and a new delivery was scheduled for 12/19. On 12/19, the new delivery man confirmed that the first fridge was defective and missing some sort of part. Unfortunately, the fridge they brought with them was noticeably dented. The delivery men said they had notified BestBuy this was a problem in the morning when it was loaded on the truck. They took the dented fridge with them. BestBuy refused to schedule another delivery for several hours. When I was finally able to schedule, they could not get another fridge to me until 12/23. They said that could not share what compensation with me until the delivery of the third fridge was complete. At first, it was only a gift card. Eventually, it was partial refund.

Excellent led lighting, roomy shelves, large freezer, quite compressor.

I love the sleek look. And with the extra space/upgrade from my original fridge, it's been amazing when we do grocery runs. One of the things I've noticed in comparison to my older fridge, it's so much more quiet.

Everything works great, awesome fridge. Only thing a little wrong would be that it doesn’t hold that much cold water, but not a big deal.

Great fridge, got it for a really low price since it was a floor model and nothing was really wrong with it

Overall, the fridge is great. For a smaller fridge, it is much more functional than my previous side-by-side. I don't mind that the water dispenser is inside the fridge but the button is way too hard to push and the water dispenses too slowly. You practically have to jam your finger to hold the button. Meanwhile, you're holding the fridge door open longer than is ideal. There's a Samsung fridge at my office with a much more well-designed internal water dispenser. That's the only thing about the fridge that I dislike. Unfortunately, it's also a feature I use it a lot. I do like the ice dispenser bucket in the freezer. I like scooping my ice rather than a thru-the-door ice dispenser because ice always ends up all over your floor with those. We removed the partial shelf altogether to create a space in the fridge to accommodate more vertical items like juice cartons. Don't miss the half shelf. Sometimes it runs a little loudly but not too bad.

We have had this fridge for 3 years, and the ice maker has broke twice

GE has proven to be a better brand for me. My last one was Samsung but it only lasted 2 years. I bought my GE 5 years ago and have not had any issues at all. Loving it!

First and foremost I want to state that I feel this is a well made quality product, but a poorly designed product. The interior layout and spacing between shelves is frustrating at best. There are only 4 locations you can locate the 3 shelves severely limiting spacing options. This creates a problem placing items taller than an average soda bottle on any of the shelves. I believe the designers intent was for taller items to go in the doors, however once you put a gallon of milk in the bottom of the shelf of a door (as it's the only place it fits without laying it on its side) you're out of 30% of your real-estate for taller items. And god help you if you want to put a bottle of wine in this thing. The produce and deli drawers are a joke. Also unless you can place this in a wide open space where you can open the doors 180 degrees you're going to have a hard time reaching the back 25% of your deli drawer (it is an adventure when you finally pull the fridge out of its cubby and see what science experiments are happening back there). The water dispenser is aweful and it you only have 1 hand you're out if luck. Plus the angle it shoots the water is backwards towards the deli drawer and so close the inside edge you can barely get a glass under it. I used to have a side by side fridge that was listed as a full cubic foot smaller but it somehow fit twice as much food as this thing. The day I had this fridge delivered I emediately had to go out and buy a deep freezer. I wish I had saved 500 bucks and bought the GE side by side.

Love this energy saving fridge. great capacity for everything you need and plenty of ice during those hot days.

The color is great. That being said. That's is the only good thing about it. Water dispenser freezes up constantly. You have to increase the freezer temperature to keep it from freezing. Which means ice cream is always half melted. Contacted GE. I was told they are aware of the problem and should put more stuff in the refrigerator in front of the filter. REALLY! That is thier solution to a major design flaw. I do not recommend this product at all.
