We recommend the following: 1) Make sure the dishwasher is connected to the hot water line and not to cold. 2) Make sure the unit is level. 3) The hot water heater should be set to deliver at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit water to the dishwasher. 4) Use high quality detergents such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. Do not use liquid dish detergents that are not made for automatic dishwashers. We hope that helps and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA

It took me awhile to realize but I no longer have to increase the volume on my TV because the dishwasher was running. The new dishwasher is so quite compared to the old one...
