You still have to prescribe the dishes before you run them. I am not a fan of the top shelf. With it in you can’t put tall cups on the top rack. For the money it’s still a ok dishwasher.

Posted .Hi there - It's wonderful to hear that your dishwasher is running well, but we certainly apologize that you have to pre-rinse the dishes before you run them and that you're experiencing issues loading items on the top rack. This must be discouraging and we completely understand your disappointment. It's very important to make sure the incoming water is hot (at least 120 degrees F) and that the rinse agent dispenser isn't empty for the best washing performance. Turn on the hot water faucet in the sink nearest the dishwasher for about a minute before running the dishwasher and add high quality rinse agents such as Cascade® Platinum™ Power Dry™ Rinse Aid or Finish® Jet-Dry® Rinse Aid to the rinse agent dispenser. Pages 11 and 12 have some great loading guidelines that will come in handy when loading the upper rack. Check it out here:

Has a separate tray for cutlery which is very convenient, but the finishing of the dishwasher, mine is black, is prone to scratches, and you have to be extra careful for that not to happen. If you get it do not get it black.

I did some reviews and this product seemed to be an ok choice with lots of features, however my wife and 2 daughters all complained to me that it just doesn't clean. The upside is that the guys who installed it were AWESOME. Along with BBuy as being an Elite member, I just called them with the new dishwasher I wanted and they scheduled the exchange.

The manufacturer is shipping the part directly to me. My other issue as perk of using my Best Buy card I chose to receive $25 in rewards. No lights on the panel showed up. Of course this was 5 months after the warranty expired. GE customer service sent me parts to replace the mother board, however, they did not fit. So frustrated! I'm going to purchase another dishwasher from Best Buy, Bosch this time. However, fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you.
