This little washer was perfect for my needs. I spent weeks looking for a portable dishwasher once I moved into my new place. It was a pain in the rear to unbox but once I got the dishwasher into place and installed the faucet adapter I was ready to go. I hooked it up and turned on the water and was immediately soaked by a spray of water from the adapter. Whoops. Removed and reinstalled with various included washers several times. I really had to crank on the adapter to get it to handle the water pressure and the flow of water from the tap is kind of out of control now, but hey, l'm never hand washing dishes again so I don't care. With quality detergent, this dishwasher absolutely cleans the dirtiest of dishes. It can even sanitize. The run times are pretty long on higher settings and I'm betting the power consumption goes up just as much, but the standard setting is 90 minutes and cleans everything I put in it while using a shockingly small amount of water. At the end of a cycle it steams the remaining water and all you have to do is let the steam out and viola, dry-ish clean dishes. It's a bit cramped inside so I had to learn how to properly load it, same as any dishwasher. RTFM. If you just put dishes in any old way it won't clean properly. The largest pots, pans and casserole dishes don't fit as well or not at all so temper expectations and expect to still have to hand wash the largest of your kitchen cookware, though I admit to being surprised by what I have stuffed inside of this machine. The top rack also has its own washer arms so it has to mate with a water outlet in the back of the washer. If you don't check that this is properly seated then the door won't close fully and you may damage something. I haven't damaged anything yet after months of heavy use but if there is a failure point anywhere on this machine, it might be me breaking something by closing the door too enthusiastically while the top rack isn't fully seated. For apartment or trailer park living, this dishwasher is perfect. I love the counter space it adds to my kitchen by virtue of having a built-in countertop. I can wheel it around easily and don't have to hand wash dishes every day so the fact that it looks nice while it does a good job of washing them for me is just icing on the cake. Docked a star for issues with the adapter and a finicky top rack.

Really happy with this device. Initially ordered a different one but due to Covid it was delayed for two months finally landed on this one. much happier, matches my other appliances runs efficiently cleans really nice and easy to use. Much quieter than my previous dishwasher. One downside is that this is a portable device with water hose that connects to the faucet it does not fully retract so it hangs out a little bit in the back of the device.

First dishwasher I've owned and I'm 51yrs old. I hate doing dishes and the older I get the harder it is to hand wash especially pots and pans because I'm developing arthritis. After purchasing this dishwasher I wish I had years ago. I've had it for a few weeks and so far it's working perfectly. Easy to operate, easy to roll and gets the dishes super clean. However, as other reviews have stated, the hose doesn't retract completely and I've not pulled it out as far as it will go. It would be nice if it had a latch to keep it in place when retracted, but to me it's a minor detail. I shopped awhile for portable dishwashers and found there is not much of a selection and imo are stupid expensive. This was the best price I could find for what I wanted and glad it was on sale. Hopefully it will last many years because I'm very happy with it.

I love the quietness of this dish washer. It does a good job, However, the water lines and how they retract is poorly designed. Doesn't retract all the way. The soap dispenser also doesn't always open, which is my main complaint. Finally silverware holder not very good, awkward to use and plastic piece at top broke off.

so far it runs really well and is super big and gets dishes clean but they sent me a used washer all the packaging looked new but it has a dent in the side and when i pulled the hose out to hook it up 2 the sink the hose leaked water all over the floor if it was new there would not already be water in the hose

I’ve had portable dishwashers for over 20 years. I use this one today and the fact that you don’t have to rinse your dishes before you put them in and I didn’t it cleaned coffee and I drink coffee out of a French press so it’s coffee grounds it clean that out of my coffee cup.. I had a Kenmore that I had to pre rinse and it still didn’t get my dishes clean. This was epic. I cannot believe how clean got it the dishes and silverwareand I use environmentally friendly soap. The drying is perfect. It’s quiet like you cannot believe how quiet it is and it’s everything I use the heavy cycle and the boost function and it cleaned everything except for the plate from my ninja foodie which had burned on eggs, but it tried. it did a lot better than my other one would’ve even done. this is the best dishwasher I have ever ever ever ever owned and I think I’ve this is my third portable dishwasher. I highly recommend.

Built well, quality materials. Great organization and large capacity. Only area I would improve is to have longer water lines for sink hookup.

I can't give it an excellent review. I have had several washes that the dishes were still not clean and left residue. And I am not pleased with how it cleans pots. But, I guess it's better than hand washing. The regular cycle is about two hours, which I think is a bit excessively long. My connection, which is the best I could do, leaks so hot water is constantly dripping for two hours into the sink. I have also had washes were the tablet that I put in the wash holder does not release. I also am not satisfied that the hose does not retreat all the way back into a slot in the back. It hangs out and drips if I don't shake and drain it for about a minute.

Cleans dishes well, really quiet except for the water draining into the sink, the racks on the bottom being adjustable to size is super convenient

I'm 34 and went my whole live without a dishwasher until going on my honeymoon a couple months ago with my wife, and staying at a place that had a dishwasher. I never knew what I was missing! When I got home, I knew we had to get one! Dishes have been a nuisance of a chore since moving in with my wife. Between the two of us and our busy careers, it's too hard to stay on top of them. The problem; we're saving for our own house, and currently live at a rental home without any kind of dishwasher hookup. I did some searching, and found that a thing such as portable dishwasher exists. I found this particular model here at Best Buy, and knew I had to buy it! Best Buys delivery service was excellent and fast; they delivered it to our house in less than one week and straight into our kitchen. Assembly was a breeze, as was installing the faucet adapter. This dishwasher is awesome. It cleans everything spotlessly every time. As someone who frequently cooks, dishes, cookware, and utensils would pile up fast in our sink. Those days are gone. This dishwasher handles everything we throw at it, including cat food bowls, crockpots, pots, and pans, you name it, it will clean it. This appliance has absolutely changed my life, and has given me so much of my time back in cleaning. I would buy it a second time over. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. When we get a new home, we're taking it with us as a second dishwasher. I love this model, and would buy another GE fixed unit for our future home.

I bought this as my apartment does not have a dishwasher and I don’t like the countertop ones. Its able to be wheeled around with ease. I personally like that it doesn’t have the “drying” function as I’ve never used it on other dishwashers prior. It does a great job cleaning my dishes and I can fit a good amount into it also.

the good: Its pretty quiet, it gets the dishes clean, and the heating element is not exposed so we don't melt plastic things that fall to the bottom The bad: It does not have a dry cycle. it looks like there is a trim peace missing at the bottom in the front. You can see the wheels in the picture but you can't see that the metal above the wheels and below the door while still painted white its different. It looks like a peace that was not intended to be on the outside but is. The other options for portable dishwashers were old noisy designs when I was shopping, This is/was the best one available when I made my purchase

I was a little hesitant when I purchased this dishwasher, based on some of the online reviews. Once it was in my house, I was amazed at how quiet it was. It gets everything really clean, and I have had zero issues with water leakage. The only quibble I have is that the hose doesn't retract all the way back when you need to move it out of the way. This could be better designed, but that's the only problem I have with this unit.

We, unfortunately, are not set up for a built-in DW. This 24” portable was the perfect solution. It moves around nicely, it’s quiet, and the dishes come out crystal clear every time. Our only critique is on the poorly thought out placement of the digital timer which is not readable while the ford is closed. Very puzzling, but inconsequential to the operations.

We needed a portable dishwasher as we are remodeling our kitchen and have no spot for a built-in right now. The choices (for portables) were scant at Best-Buy. I (reluctantly) decided to purchase this GE from the available models when it went on sale. I/we have only used it a few times so far and it has performed well. It is not too loud. I absolutely HATE the controls being on top of the door as you cannot see the status when the door is closed.

This dishwasher gets dishes spotless without pre-rinsing. It’s extremely quiet. To the point that sometimes I have to double check to see if it’s running. The power cord and fill/drain tube were on the short side. They are sufficient, but I would have liked them to be a bit longer so we could move the cart around when trying to get into cupboards. Understandably, (with todays shipping problems) it took longer than than anticipated to get delivered.
