We have been using it for a few weeks with no problems. It is quiet and has lots of room for a variety of items. We especially like the "dry boost". With our old dishwasher we had to hand dry plastic food storage containers. With the dry boost they are actually dry at the end. We were not looking for a "3rd rack", but are surprised at how much we use it. The dishwasher has many features we do not use. As one chooses additional washing/drying features the wash time increases substantially. But, it's nice to know they are there if we want/need them. With "normal" wash and dry boost, time is about 2 hrs 19 min.

Overall I’ve been very happy with this product. You can hear it while working but it isn’t terribly loud. I’ve decided I’m not a fan of of controls at the top of door but it was my choice to try this model. I found I need to dry on high setting otherwise dishes are still very wet but other than that it’s a great machine. Liking the 3rs rack as well. Also-had a great experience with Best Buy! Purchase and installation process went very smoothly.

Very quite. The bottle jets are my favorite, and they work really well, even cleaned off chocolate. With the third rack, not all of my smoothie bottles fit completely upright for the jets . I like that the is a basket and the third rack for utensils. I have to learn the correct combination to get it to dry everything properly. I like the versatility of the options to turn off the features that aren’t being used.

I love this Dishwasher. I replaced my 15+ year old Maytag with the GE. 100% hands down the best dishwasher I have ever had. It is so quiet I thought it was not working. My dishes come out clean every time. The bonus is the 3rd rack for large cutting knifes, spatulas and lids.

This is a pretty good dishwasher. It is quiet and efficient. It is also very easy to install and the top rack is a must have!

Used yesterday for the first time, did a great job, very quiet

The dishwasher was supposed to replace an old one that broke down a while ago. When it was delivered, there was a problem right away. As the delivery man were wheeling it in, I noticed that water was dripping out of the package (that was outside on the way to my home). Inside, I guess they angled their trolley more and the water started pouring out. It was all over my floor. There was at least 1/2 gallon if not more. I know that it was no fault of the delivery man, but when I pointed put the water that spilled out, they seemed to be annoyed. One of them spoke some English and explained to me that the water was there as one cycle was run in the factory to make sure the dishwasher works. That was already a concern to me as it did not appear to drain water and should not have passed quality control. Next, I needed to install it (I was doing it myself). After unpacking it, I opened the door and was overwhelmed by the odor. It was very strong mix of plastic and detergent odor. I was wondering whether my dishes are going to have that odor after washing as I wouldn't be able to use them. Inside everything was wet. Even the manual and papers were wet. They were not drenched in water, but appeared that they were exposed to water for a long time and absorbed a lot of it. Pages were dark grey and felt wet to the touch. I carefully separated the pages of the manual so not to tear them and started installation. I don't remember the first step, but the second was to check whether the door was balanced. When opened by certain angle, it was supposed to fall flat on its own (it did), and when closed to about 20 degrees from the vertical it was supposed to snap shut on its own (it did not). I did some checking throughout the manual and the online. Problem is the spring and on this model spring tension cannot be adjusted. The only way was to change the spring. At this point, I thought that I would be a good idea to return it. Fortunately, Best Buy was good about it and arranged a pickup within a couple of days and processed my refund expeditiously. Maybe I have had a bad luck and got a defective one, but QC at GE should have picked that up. I am on the market for another one and it won't be GE.

We bought this to replace our 4 year old GE dishwasher, that was the older version of this model and we loved it. This one is much louder than previous version, same rack layout and the controls were moved from the front of door to the top. For the price I would expect a little more from this model and brand, mainly just quieter. I hope this lasts longer than the 4 years we got on the other model. I have loads of faith in GE products and will continue to purchase regardless.

I love how quite it is however it doesn’t completely dry the dishes.

This model has the small 3rd rack in the top but items put up there need to be clean. They don't get clean during the wash. The machine doesn't dry very well. Also, it's a good thing I know how to operate dish washers as there were no operating instructions included.
