Very quiet. Seems to be a long wash/dry cycle but perhaps more efficient that way with same water doing majority of scrubbing. Dishes sometimes a bit wet. One time the detergent pod holder did not open during cycle. Had some difficulty opening by hand after cycle over and shreds and gunk from pod had to be scooped out. Don’t know what happened. Have only had unit a week so time will tell. So far pleased with dishwasher. Especially how quiet it is. Small hiccup in installation with under the sink connector not included in kit for installation for installers. I was able to locate the part and install it myself and Best Buy offered me a $20 coupon for my trouble. So all good. Instruction manual would’ve been nice. We found one on the Internet. Apparently they are not enclosed

Best dishwasher we have ever purchased and super quiet too. This replaced a Kenmore dishwasher that we were able to limp along for a few months using a repair person. That repair person recommended we buy this unit because of the less maintenance issues these units have. The features have made it so we do not rince our dishes anymore like we use too.

I love this Dishwasher. I replaced my 15+ year old Maytag with the GE. 100% hands down the best dishwasher I have ever had. It is so quiet I thought it was not working. My dishes come out clean every time. The bonus is the 3rd rack for large cutting knifes, spatulas and lids.

This dishwasher is quiet and cleans dishes well. The only complaint is that you have to select drying options and it adds a lot of time to the cycle.

The third rack is definitely not useable besides for something flat and that flat stuff is NOT silverware. It cannot get silverware clean. So, pretty much it’s useless and I removed it to give my actual top rack some more clearance. This is a barebones dishwasher which is what I was looking for.

I would prefer the control panel be on outside of the door. It washes well and I like the third rack for flat items.

I love my new dishwasher! I use the top utinsel rack more than I thought I woiuld. The control panel is easy to use and there are a lot of otions for delay, level of heat to dry, heavy or light wash, wash top or bottom level, and more. My one comoplaint is that the control panel is very sensitive to the touch. When I load dishes and bump it with my leg, it comes on. When I grab the door to close it, the panel comes on. It isn't a huge problem because the panel goes off if you don't hit start. I just leave the door ajar until the lights go off. I'm training myself to grab the side of the door when I close it.

I am happy with the functions of this product and it's performance. It's kinda surprising how much better it cleans than my old unit! Although I would like a shorter cycle. 2 hours and 7 minutes is the quickest it runs through the options.

We are very happy with the new dishwasher. It does a fantastic job on the dishes. It is very quiet. My husband said he can use the dishwasher for his “white noise” for a nap. Love the little top rack.

The dishwasher is nice a quiet, would have given it 5 stars but the 3rd rack lacks any clips at the end of the rails to keep you from accidentally pulling it out every time you pull it out to load or unload. Maybe a higher-end would have that, but it's an odd thing to not add.

If you're looking for a classic white dishwasher this GE fits the bill. Running with a quiet 50 decimal rating and with power boost setting gets the toughest dishes clean.

This product seemingly does a good job at cleaning the dishes, but I am rating it as average. The layout of the racks could be better as it is hard to load glasses and also pots and pans. The angles of some of the divider spike aren't very practical for loading different items. Additionally, there is no door open alert unless the washer is actually on to let you know that the door is open. My old unit would buzz if the door was open after several minutes. The adjustable second rack is either too high or too low when moved so basically you are stuck with the high position only as the most optimal position. I got this model because the one i wanted was out of stock, and I am not delighted, just Ok.

The dishwasher was supposed to replace an old one that broke down a while ago. When it was delivered, there was a problem right away. As the delivery man were wheeling it in, I noticed that water was dripping out of the package (that was outside on the way to my home). Inside, I guess they angled their trolley more and the water started pouring out. It was all over my floor. There was at least 1/2 gallon if not more. I know that it was no fault of the delivery man, but when I pointed put the water that spilled out, they seemed to be annoyed. One of them spoke some English and explained to me that the water was there as one cycle was run in the factory to make sure the dishwasher works. That was already a concern to me as it did not appear to drain water and should not have passed quality control. Next, I needed to install it (I was doing it myself). After unpacking it, I opened the door and was overwhelmed by the odor. It was very strong mix of plastic and detergent odor. I was wondering whether my dishes are going to have that odor after washing as I wouldn't be able to use them. Inside everything was wet. Even the manual and papers were wet. They were not drenched in water, but appeared that they were exposed to water for a long time and absorbed a lot of it. Pages were dark grey and felt wet to the touch. I carefully separated the pages of the manual so not to tear them and started installation. I don't remember the first step, but the second was to check whether the door was balanced. When opened by certain angle, it was supposed to fall flat on its own (it did), and when closed to about 20 degrees from the vertical it was supposed to snap shut on its own (it did not). I did some checking throughout the manual and the online. Problem is the spring and on this model spring tension cannot be adjusted. The only way was to change the spring. At this point, I thought that I would be a good idea to return it. Fortunately, Best Buy was good about it and arranged a pickup within a couple of days and processed my refund expeditiously. Maybe I have had a bad luck and got a defective one, but QC at GE should have picked that up. I am on the market for another one and it won't be GE.

So quiet even with it being a 50db. Sometimes I forget its wven on. My only conerns: length of time and still doesnt completely dry. I love the third rack tho....

It’s a great dishwasher that is also quieter than the unit it replaced. The top mounted CJ trols are easy to use and the extra top rack and bottle keys are pretty cool.

Does a good job cleaning and drying. Quiet. Somewhat confusing to use.
