There was a leak from the water inlet. The way this device was built made me curious and I tried to examine it as much as I could. Apparently, it is a device made with a very simple technique and priced at a high level. Companies that are for-profit and have existed for many years cannot save themselves from this trap. The far eastern brand I bought cheaper has an incredible superiority, from cabling to production technique.

The process to get a tech was excruciating painful and we are still stuck with faulty appliance. I will never ever be buying another GE appliance again.

Returned it and waited a week for a replacement. When loading the replacement in the back of my truck water drained from the box. Returned that one and bought one from an independent appliance. That one was dry and works great

However, we do want to let you know that every dishwasher is tested for leaking before being packed for shipment; therefore, the dishwasher may have a small amount of water in the tub when it reaches the home. If the product is tilted severely or turned upside down, this water may spill out. We are sorry that you weren't informed and apologize for your inconvenience.

It somehow holds a lot more dishes, blends in with the cabinets well, is so quiet, and the dishes come out sparkling! And i never prerinse.

Purchased first of April and drain pump went out less than 2 months later! Local appliance place came to diagnose through manufacturer warranty but haven’t heard anything since!!

To aid in this, turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher, let run until the water temperature stops rising, then turn off the faucet and start the dishwasher. Holds a good amount of dishes. Only con is it does take awhile to complete a normal cycle. Havent tested the quick cycle yet.
