I prewash everything so I haven't actually tried putting dishes that is stuck or dried on. The plate holders doesn't allow for plates to stand as they fall. Kind of annoying. We had to get something in the lower end. I am happy with this product for the price.

The delivery crew was good. Courteous and professional. Took good care of preventing damage. Connected everything with no issues. Putting the unit in place was not that good. It was sufficient but not quite right. The door lanyard was not attached on one side and it was not flush. I just realized the other day that there’s no insulation around it. I took care of the aesthetics but need to have someone out to address the lack of insulation. Overall I’m happy but wish I’d paid attention to details. Sales associate was good. Price was good. Delivery was good. Hookup was good. Installation was fair.

Posted .We'd like to assist with the sound level of your dishwasher. It is normal for the unit to make sounds while operating: Water entering the dishwasher, the motor stopping and starting at various times during a cycle, the spray arms starting and stopping at various times, the drain pump sounds during pump out, etc. You can help the sound level by making sure the dishes are loaded properly. Tall utensils may be placed in the upper rack to avoid bumping against the inner door during the wash cycle. For more information on sounds, see here:

GE Top Control Dishwasher

The GE is quieter and the dishes are much cleaner and dryer at the end of the cycle. The fit and finish of the racks can use some work, but as long as we're gentle with them, I think they'll last a long time.
