Requires use of Cascade soap. Had it for less than a year and error messages are appearing. Was hopeful for a GE product. Unfortunately it has been worse than or last dishwasher.

Posted .Thank for sharing your concerns. If you have not already done so, we recommend disconnecting the power to your dishwasher at your breaker or fuse box for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. Also, to ensure the best wash and dry performance, the incoming water temperature must be a minimum of 120°. We encourage you to check the water temperature using a candy or meat thermometer placed in a cup. Turn the hot water on at the sink closest to the dishwasher and allow it to run into the cup until the temperature stops rising. Adjust your water heater if needed. Using the Wash TempBoost option will also improve overall performance. if you continue to have difficulties, please call Bodewell Service at 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) to schedule a service appointment to have your dishwasher properly diagnosed and repaired.

Posted .We'd like to assist with the sound level of your dishwasher. It is normal for the unit to make sounds while operating: Water entering the dishwasher, the motor stopping and starting at various times during a cycle, the spray arms starting and stopping at various times, the drain pump sounds during pump out, etc. You can help the sound level by making sure the dishes are loaded properly. Tall utensils may be placed in the upper rack to avoid bumping against the inner door during the wash cycle. For more information on sounds, see here:

This one doesn't seem to quite clean as well as that one did and I really don't like the touch buttons on the top. I accidentally hit them all the time. If/when I buy another, I will make sure the buttons are on the front.
