Put your money towards a different unit. Today, after having this dishwasher for not even 6 months, the wheel from the bottom rack came off during a wash cycle. Other than being a nuisance, this is not the serious issue, the issue is the plastic wheel landed on the heating element - so you guessed it, when the dishwasher began a drying cycle - the plastic wheel melted down and lit on fire. Yes. FIRE. Now my two children and myself get to smell fire and melted plastic in our home until who knows when. I’m on the phone trying to get someone out here to look at this and am being told we have to wait A WEEK for someone to come out when there has been a fire. Not to mention trying to get this unit in the first place was such a disaster. Reschedule after reschedule after reschedule - so grateful we paid to be Total Tech Members since that seems to do squat with deliveries, installs, services, respect - anything.

Replaced a Covid dishwasher with this one. Cleans well. Excellent installation.

The dishwasher delivered with a large dent in the appliance most likely warehouse damage. The installers were polite and helpful. But we will need a replacement dishwasher.

I checked with all three big box stores with this same model dishwasher and they all had the same price, but Best Buy had free shipping and the others charged for it, just had to wait 3 weeks to get it today 3/1/2024. Will see how long it will last now.

I saw water leaking from under the dishwasher everytime we used it. Called back the technician to check, the leak is not feom the waterline or the drain but from the side of the machine. It leaks when the water is spinning around in the tub

Great addition to my house, I have always used g.e. appliances, go the distance.

Top rack is a waste if you have tall items in middle rack. Things like wine glasses or winged storage container lids. Tried to lower the middle rack to accommodate them but then could not fit dinner plates in the bottom! I had to remove the top rack that I paid extra for with this model. The curved slots are too close together so the pasta dishes do not get clean; have to use every other one. Total waste of space. The bottom drawer comes off the track quite often. Need to clean dishes prior to loading more than my 20 year old Maytag. It's interior is smaller too. Run loads more often than before. Not what i was expecting. Disappointed.

Delivered a damaged product and customer service just transferring me to another one again and again and the answer is always “sorry but we can’t handle it”. The leg bent, and the leg support screw can’t work properly. The screw hole is damaged

I just picked up this dishwater yesterday, buying the NEW one not open box. I opened it, I saw water & mold inside it. The fliter is dirty as well, I am so disappointed. I even checked my order to see if I ordered it by mistake as open box, but I ordered a NEW one and didnt get it

Why would GE use a plastic drain hose?? I connected the drain hose to the plastic air gap that is required by CA law, and water came gushing out, damaging my cabinet. I cranked down on the clamp, and it happened again. The diameter of the drain hose is 3/4", and the diameter of the air gap is 5/8". So there is a gap, and plastic on plastic will never make a great seal. I'm now trying to jerry rig a hose extension with a rubber connection with the right diameter to make a better seal. THIS IS REDICULOUS. If I hadn't tossed the box this would go back.

They only delivered it and did not install it- are they coming back to install it ?

Overall, I'm very happy with this dishwasher. It offers excellent performance, runs quietly, and the dishes come out sparkling clean every time. The three-rack system is especially convenient — the top row is perfect for utensils and smaller items like lids or espresso cups, which helps free up space below. That said, the one small downside is that the top (third) rack does limit the vertical space on the second rack. It can be a bit tricky to fit larger saucers or taller glasses without adjusting or removing the top rack entirely. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to consider if you often wash larger dishes. Aside from that, the machine is efficient, easy to load, and looks great in the kitchen. The controls are straightforward, and the different cycle options make it easy to choose exactly what I need. If you're looking for a modern dishwasher with great features and solid cleaning performance, this one is definitely worth considering — just be mindful of the rack space if you have bulkier items.

The shipping box was exceptional, well protected. Good start. The install was easy as any I've done. I find the rack setup very efficient. The little 3rd shelf is great for things like spatulas, knives, and wooden spoons that usually end up somewhere you don't want them in your washer. Runs so quiet I practically had to put my ear right next to it to make sure was running. Use the right soap and settings and the dishes come out perfect and dry. Highly recommend.

All my appliances are GE. So upgrading to a new GE Dishwasher was the way to go. Have always had good results with GE products. The one I'm replacing (GSD2020Z04BB) lasted 24 years. This new one (GDP670SGV1BB) has touch sensitive LED controls, stainless steel interior, better racks and runs a lot quieter. Always get the best price from Best Buy!

A quiet dishwasher that gets the dishes clean. Easy to load and unload. I like the top rack where I can put little lids to things. There are a lot of washing settings. It takes 2 hours for a full wash, but other than that it’s great. Would not recommend paying for installation because my dad had to redo it.

This dishwasher cleans well and is pretty (quiet maybe as loud as a whisper). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it did not come with any screws or bolts it had a little baggie which I believe the screws/bolts would have came in but it was empty. Then the bottom cover that comes with it was not cut properly so I had to drill my own hole to make it fit, the cutouts the plastic piece has were way too far apart.
