However, a lot of water resides on the dishes (specifically plastic bottles and silverware).

We immediately noticed that the “Heated Dry” fearure did not work. We have contacted the Best Buy store and are still waiting for the replacement. Meanwhile, it is an inconvenience to manually dry all the dishes and have water all over the floor while pulling dishware out of the dishwasher. We have added the Rinse Aid in the additional dispenser and have turned on the “Steam” function as well, but the dishes, particularly on the top rack, still come out completely drenched in water, as well as with water collected on the cups, glasses, lids, etc. We were surprised to see such manufactering defect in a GE appliance because we have multiple GE appliances that are of exceptional quality.

Posted .Hello TSMVA - thank you for providing a review of your dishwasher. We are sorry to hear that the dishes are completely wet after the cycle. In additional to using the steam and rinse agent, we also recommend running the hot water a few seconds in the sink prior to starting the dishwasher. We also recommend selecting the "Wash Temp Boost" option. Keep in mind that the new dishwashers are more energy efficient than older dishwashers. It is not abnormal to see water in places where it can collect after the cycle, such as the tops of glasses. We hope this helps! Thanks for providing your feedback! NANCYatGEA

Had for just over 2 years and it quit mixing soap with water, soap sitting in bottom of the tub plus it won't dry dishes any more. A lot of money for only 2 years worth. Called Geek Squad and they are unwilling to help figure out what needs to be done to get it working.

It caused my dishwasher to overflow and damage the unit, which we didn't realize at the time. Took forever to get them back out to hook it up correctly. It ran great for about a month and then wouldn't turn on. Geek Squad came out and repaired it but it blew out again after one run. Best Buy is replacing the unit. I will write another review after the new machine as been running for a couple of months.
