But if you want a good quality refrigerator that will last you then there is nothing like a GE.

I kept some of the shelving from the old refrigerator and they fit perfectly in the new one. I should have kept all the shelves as the high end model had better quality shelves that I could have just transferred to the new one. Delivery and installation was smooth and finished in about 45 minutes.

Service has been out and ordered a new solenoid part to be mailed to me. It's been 4 days and haven't gotten any sort of email or call that the part has been ordered or shipped to me yet. Such a hassle right now to get ice. Have to dump ice into a bucket but at least it makes ice. This would have a 5 STAR rating except for this.

The freezer and ice cube dispenser work well, though the size of the ice cubes are too large. Its disappointing that the water dispenser does not release chilled water - you have to manually add (extra large) ice cubes to the lukewarm water to get cold water!! Extremely annoying!! Secondly, the fridge side does not get cold enough and things are just a little colder than lukewarm. Items usually have condensation on them, and just don't feel very cold. The door alarm goes off only if the door is left fully open for a few minutes, and does not work if the door is partially sealed. So, a little disappointed.
