We are very happy with how well it works. We had the newer models with the freezer below, but found it hard to constantly be stooped over to get lower items.

So this is probably a good thing because the older model was very reliable

My refrigerator is only a month and a half old, therefore, too soon to tell, however, so far so good !

I am not happy with this refrigerator because it drips ~95 % when I fill up my glass and others. Yes, because of my request 3 technicians came to my house and checked my refrigerator and all 3 of them told me, this is very normal, we can't do anything about it. I told them what you told me is not acceptable, because before this refrigerator I had another same kind of GE refrigerator ('Profile' model) and this situation never happen. I told them I think this is design and/or engineering mistake'. So, if for most of the time you don't mind always to drying up 1-2 drops of water with a kitchen towel all the time, buy this unit, otherwise do not buy it! Period!
