Cooling stopped working after 15 months

GE’s warranty lasts only 1 year and, therefore, does not cover a new compressor. I do not recommend this fridge, which cost more than $1200. I am very disappointed in GE’s poor workmanship and poor service.

It beeps l24/7 thus we have to leave it unplugged. Have a Best Buy service plan but they can't come out for almost 2 weeks. Going to buy a replacement fridge from Lowes and never purchase another GE or appliance from Best Buy.

It was frosting up very badly on the refrigerator side with icing and water condensation onto the top glass shelf. This was caused by a loose door seal. The left door (freezer) side closed firmly but the right side (frige) opened with very little force indicating a poor seal. Upon inspection of the rubber seal as viewed from top-down, it was apparent. A replacement unit was shipped but the unit had a similar seal asymmetry. Returned unit for an LG brand.

The refrigerator rolled when you opened the door. There were no”feet”. We were not told about this when making the purchase. The refrigerator was delivered in a non functioning state. It was warmer inside the refrigerator than inside my house! The freezer did not work. It stayed at 55 degrees!! We set it to 0 and it never got cold! The worst experience with an appliance!!

It is advised to place a small piece of wood below the rollers of your unit to keep it from rolling and to allow 24 hours for the unit to cool to the set temperature. Nice fridge, bad business tactic

Which adds quite a bit to cost of owning. Very annoyed, I won’t purchase ge fridge again.

The first quit working so the store sent out a new one. It is not workin g properly. Geek S came out the day after installation and had to order a new part. So now 4 days after delivery of the second one its sitting out in the middle of my kitchen still not workin g right and then when the part arrives I have to call and set up an appointment to have them back out and try to fix it.

I am now waiting for my THIRD replacement fridge. Both previous delivery guys tell me that the replacement fridges were damaged and recommended that I exchange the shelf instead of the fridge. Now I am waiting for another delivery with no detail. Not the best buy n’cest pas??? As my nanny used to tell me in Spanish, God bless those people who don’t make me waste my time.
