    So we have had a traditional refrigerator for the past 7 years with no problems. We decided to go with a side by side this time because we like them in the past and were excited about this one because of the space and arrangement. And the slate finish was the best touch for our kitchen. So now we have all new matching appliances and we are very happy.

    This is a very large refrigerator. May stick out from the cabinets so measure the depth to be sure. Great shelving and drawer layouts. Large capacity ice maker. The water filter must be installed first or the ice maker and door cool water features will not work.

    A month in, we really like how this refrigerator works. Plenty of room, ice maker isn't too loud, and easy controls. The only CON I would give this is the shelves on the fridge-side door can be knocked loose if you bump the shelf upwards. Even with milk and other things in them, they can dislodge if you aren't careful. But overall, a good buy.

    I love our new refrigerator! The slate shows very little fingerprints, and looks great against our walnut cabinets. The ice maker is a little noisy, but not bad. And it is not complicated like those new refrigerators with the double-layer doors and such. Great product!

    I was s little shy about buying slate for our kitchen remodel but I am do glad we did. Looks great in our project. I had some trouble with Best Buy cancelling and reordering without telling me. That was a little frustrating but eventually it all worked out for us.
