    Purchased this product and immediately regretted it. The filter light kept coming on within the first week, after ignoring it for about two weeks I removed the filter and instantly regretted it. The filter snapped and now I’m past my return/exchange period and the manufacturer no longer makes the filter. Save yourself, get a different product!!!

    If I turn on or off the AC with the remote, it turns on the TV. When turned on, the AC defaults to ECO mode which we then have to reset to constant AC. Other than those issues, the AC runs fine (had it for 3 months).

    Why does the refrigerant sound have to be so loud, annoying! Thought it was a problem with the 500 BTU. But the 6000's louder. It's like a high-pitched refrigerant sound. My different brands have been quiet. Cadillacs. What is up with GE?

    I am not satisfied with the performance.I was using old model of GE air conditioner with the 6000BTU power which used to cool the room fairly.But this unit couldn't make the room enough cold and making unusual noises.

    Didn’t last long. We don’t run the unit all day and night but for the time we used it the ac stopped blowing cold after less than a year of use.
