    Does the job, not too sure about longevity. We installed this ac into the window by ourselves, the parts did not really seem to fit together and we had to use gorilla glue to make things fit. For now seems sturdy enough.

    This A/C unit did the job on 90 deg. days. Only dislike is the way the side curtains attach to the unit.

    I have a 189 square foot room and so I assumed that this unit would definitely be sufficient. It's not. It keeps the bedroom from getting stifling, but there have been many nights when I've woken up sweating and it was already at its maximum cool setting. I know, I know- it's cheap, but still I paid $200, which isn't nothing. If I pay for something, I do expect it to work as advertised, otherwise why is it being sold to begin with? Overall, this unit keeps a 189 sq ft room from being uninhabitable, but not comfortable. Furthermore, I'm now wondering how long it's going to be able to meet even this minimum requirement. Given that it's so inadequate out of the box, I'm betting that it's not going to last more than a season or so. Look to another model- I wish that I did.

    1st unit lasted 8 days. Stopped cooling and made noise. 2nd unit seems to be working good so far. Cools nice and quick. Hopefully it will last.

    The unit fan scrubs the back of the housing when its first powers on and off . Its smooth out but its annoying . Cools the room very well
