Weak system

We recommend you review the tips in the "Air conditioner does not cool as it should" section on pg. 14 of the Owner's Manual. While in operation, it's normal to hear some sounds as outlined in the "Normal Operating Sounds" section on pg. 15 of the Owner's Manual. However, if you believe the noise you're hearing is abnormal, we recommend you take advantage of the one year warranty by giving us a call at: 1-800-432-2737. -Don@GEAppliances

The Owner’s Manual can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. -- If those don’t help and you are within your 1-year warranty period, see page 17 of the Owner’s Manual for warranty exchange details. Posted .We are sorry to hear you're not happy with your new Air Conditioner. This model is perfect for rooms that are approximately 250 square feet. All Window Air Conditioners have white Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) air ducts. This foam material is similar to what is used in coolers and insulated cups. The EPS is part of the product and should not be removed. If you are having issues, please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to Bodewell Service by calling 1-833-436-3393. Bad customer service

Best buy then stated that it ws out of stock and wouldn’t be matched. Horrible customer service

Great for a small room

I installed it in a room that is around 150 sq/ft and it can drop the temperature from 80 degrees to 70 and the humidity from 65% to 40% in around 20 minutes. It is basically only for a small room but that is what they claim it is for anyway. Controls are nice and basic for what you need. It has a filter clean reminder. The filter pulls out from the side instead of pulling down on the front which I really like. The remote controls all of the functions of the A/C. The lettering on the remote is nearly impossible to see what the room is dark, unlike other remotes I have that you can see. It is somewhat loud with some vibration. I wish it was slightly quieter but it is not obnoxious.

Great AC unit! Saved me from a heat wave!

It was delivered on time and was easy to install. Remote control was a plus that I didn't know I needed but love. Best Buy rocked this order!
