I have a small bedroom and the window size is small. This A/C just fit. It cools my room pretty quickly its a little noisy. I did have one issue with this A/C, I left the A/C off for a while but forgot to turn Off my room light. It was after dark when I went back to my room. My room was full of nats, some small beetles and mosquitoes. I think the flew through the A/C. After getting rid of all the insects. I decided to add a screen material to the vent. I used tape to hold it against it. Since that small addition I have no issues with bugs coming from the A/C.

Bought this in a pinch went our central ac went out and it was over 90F outside. This unit works great and kept our bedroom feeling icy cold even on a hot day. It was very easy to install, I did have to put a piece of wood underneath for support since I have an old window frame. It helped me finally get some sleep on hot nights. I like the different modes and fan speed. We set it on ECO mode so it does not run 24/7 and it maintained the room temperature very well. It is not very loud, but I did have to cover the buttons with tape because the light from them was pretty bright at night.

Overall, satisfied with the product. It's slick and can cool my room of 200 sq ft. It does make a noise, but it's tolerable. I like the auto speed setting which will turn the entire unit off once your room temp stabilizes. My biggest complaint is on the installation side of things. They don't make it clear what types of windows this would fit. I live in an older home that has a window sill, and the unit could not fit flat on the bottom fo the sill, so I was not able to screw in the fitting plates to the bottom. Instead, what I had to do was by a shim of wood, hacksaw grooves in it to fit on the topside of the unit, and then drill the top screws into that wooden shim. I then had to shove insulation (and buy more insulation) onto all sides to give it a seal. Now it is well sealed for the most part, though there are still occasional drops of water that will leak through when flash floods hit. I also did not have a power drill so had to acquire one for this purpose. Maybe it's worth paying for installation?

So am visiting Puerto Rico and am staying with fam! The room they put me in is so hot and being a jersey man who enjoys cool weather I suffered for exactly 7.5 hours is 107 degree heat in the room! I got in the car and decided I needed a well priced ac that has great reviews this one was purchased! Cooking is freaking awesome run it all day and the energy saver is a great feature and still cools the room! The control included is great help being that I have it a distance from where I sleep! It’s very easy to clean the filter and will be picking up another one once back home! I have Best Buy coverage on all the products I purchase from the site so I am confident my family in Puerto Rico will get great use out of the unit! Love Best Buy and their insurance program highly recommend this unit for purchase!

First, it was fine & then it started leaking & caused damage to my wall & stained my floor. I had to put something under it to stop it from dripping down. & now it’s a red light blinking between “Filter” & “Power”. I had it on “low” & “eco” the whole time, with a temperature of the already set “72”. Somehow it ended up on “high” & then yesterday I noticed the red blinking light. It blinks while the ac is off & on. Its noise level was tolerable, but has increased in the past week. Especially when I noticed it was on “high”.

Pretty good ac, 150 sq ft bedroom and cools the room within 5 mins or so, remote control so you don’t have to leave the bed during night. Also comes with window kit and instructions. Assembly and installation depends on your handiness.

Wasnt too much and works very well. Has been able to keep up with this summer's record breaking heat in a room slightly smaller than its rating. Isnt too loud, but does vibrate some, so you may need to put up with some noises from the window if you cant nullify the vibrations on it. Doesnt show the room temp.

As loud as any other window ac. Cools 12x12 room within 10mins. Ran constantly when first purchased. The filter light came on twice. Apparently it comes on after so many hours regardless if filter needs cleaning or not. Just checked the filter and reset light. No issues at all.

We have double hung windows in a 330 sf open dining / living room area. This is a 100yr old house and the openings are tiny: 17w x 14h. As you can imagine this is going to be a tight fit for any AC, let alone one that can cool a space that size. Enter this GE 6000btu unit. It's a beauty! Check out the picture. It fit the opening with just a 1/4 inch to spare all around. Needless to say I left the wings off, and cut hard foam to fill the window tracks. Today was its first full day. On ECO mode it ran most of the day, but kept the space down to 74 degrees with 90 outside. What a treat not to roast! This little guy is a workhorse. Highly recommend.

I bought this air conditioner for my granddaughter’s bedroom and it works great. She would set the heat pump for the whole house at temperature that would freeze us all. So now she can keep her bedroom at 65 degrees and the rest of us can be comfortable. All of her friends have thanked me for buying it for her. It keeps a constant temperature that she sets it at and she can control it from her bed. It works great

I have a large studio and this thing cools down the entire place. I was worried it wouldn't be the right one for the room size, 2 ferrets, 1 large dog, and 2 adults. I was going to get the $350 large room one but didn't have the money for that so had to get this. The side walls didn't fit the window but I improvised (already knew it wasn't going to fit by the specifications). Couldn't be happier, I definitely recommend this one for the cost and effectiveness.

This a/c unit works great. I've had it less than a month so I'm hoping it holds up long term. It only has left/right air flow adjustment but since I put it in my bedroom I figured it wouldn't matter a whole lot. The room is about 12 by 15 and it does a great job cooling it down. It does NOT come with a bracket but the person that installed it for me was able to put it in without one. Love that it came with a remote control. No more tolerating 90* temps...I'm happy with it!
