Small but efficient. It cooled off my 13 x 15' bedroom in no time. Remote is easy to use. It's everything that's in the description. The only thing I don't like is, as others have said, It's noisy! The sound is fine until you put it on energy save mode (eco), the noise is no bueno, thus the 4 stars. My daughter works and plays hard, she sleeps well no matter what, so I gave it to her and she loves it, lol. If a bit noisy doesn't bother you, I'd recommend.

Purchased the GE air conditioner in August of 2021. I have used it for 3 summers. I always install the AC around June/July and remove from window beginning of September. The AC itself cools the room fine although it may be a bit loud so I don't keep it on all night. But I'm disappointed that it is already very rusty. In turn the rust now drips down the siding of my house (difficult to clean off). I have another much older GE AC and it has not gotten rusty.

This little box can produce a tremendous amount of cold air. It responds quickly when we change the temperature setting. The filter is easy to clean and the remote is handy. It's a little noisy, but we'd rather have roaring cold than quiet sultriness. There were no installation instructions in the box. I found them online but I'd rather have a paper copy to consult.

Very Cold in affordable price, Easy to install, Very easy to use

We purchased this this past summer, this unit worked very well to cool down a large master bedroom, The remote was very easy to use in the unit was very easy to use or only issue with the unit it came in defective, cosmetic damage to the front of the unit we needed to return, other than that very well made unit.

I bought this ac unit for my upstairs bedroom. Our ac was working on first floor but not the second. I liked the fact that it wasn’t too heavy so I could install it myself. It definitely cooled down the room really fast. The only reason why I gave it only 4 was because the filter needs to be changed quite a bit, otherwise it is a great ac unit for upstairs.

I needed a smaller window air conditioner and I found this GE at a reasonable price and easy to install. The remote is responsive and easy to use.

It was easy to set up and worked for our bedroom. We made it work hard in extremely hot weather and it performed well. And the remote was a bonus. A little loud, but I guess that is to be expected

This little unit is great, It cools my room quickly, the remote is an extra bonus and it looks great. The only bad thing I would say its the noise level, it is a little noisy.

for its size and price, this GE air conditioner is excellent! it cools my 220 square ft. bedroom and isn't too noisy.

Turned it on yesterday, temp outside was about 90 degrees and it quickly cooled down our medium sized living room. Not super quiet, hard to hear our TV in quite passages of a show when it is on, but acceptable. If we are planning to watch a movie, we cool the room down, then shut it off. Remote control works well

This is worth its weight in gold. What sets this apart from other models is. It’s affordable, lightweight and fits in just about any style of window, right to left or bottom to top opening windows no problem it’s easy to install, this unit I give five stars.

The GE 6000 btu window unit was an excellent match for my needs. I live in a older two story house that has central air, however I needed extra cooling power in one of the upstairs bedrooms; this unit weighed less than some of the other models and brands, was easy to install and the 6000 btu does an excellent job of cooling the bedroom. I find the eco setting a plus just set the temp and forget about it.

I like this AC, its very cooling even on the much hotter days. I use it in a king sized room and when the door is open it still extends air into the hallway. It was easy to set up and overall simple to use and clean. I've had it for about a month now. The remote comes in handy especially in the middle of the night when it gets too cold.

Needed a new, but small, air conditioner for my children's rooms. We recently got new windows on our entire house & those in their rooms were somewhat smaller & more narrow. These air conditioners, (we actually purchased 2), fir the bill quite nicely. They fit well within the windows, cool their rooms nicely & have all of the modern amenities needed, including a timer & remote control. Perfect product for our needs & not too badly priced.

lightweight easy to install, easy to control with the included remote. installed in less than 30 minutes with no experience. I did follow recommended 24hr wait before turning on the ac. just follow installation instructions. you will need to buy a window seal for the sides of the ac unit which wasn't included. price wise was a steal with the added discount offered from bestbuy.

Works pretty good. I have it for a small bedroom and it is keeping it cool. It's not quiet but I am able to sleep well. I may purchase a bigger unit for my living room but I am not sure yet. I love the remote control.

The air conditioner cools the room pretty fast, it is on the louder side however but not as bad to be a bother. Aesthetically it’s nice and the remote control is a nice touch.
