    Our last refrigerator/freezer lasted 18 years with not one problem. We've had this refrigerator/freezer for only 2 years and have had several problems already. Our fridge periodically freezes everything in it. We never know when it is going to happen so we can't prepare for it, and a lot of foods are ruined once they get frozen, so we are also periodically throwing away food from our fridge. Even worse, we have a diabetic in our home and when their expensive insulin freezes, it has to be thrown away and we have to run out and purchase more right away! We are very worried that this could happen on a holiday when the pharmacy isn't open and we won't be able to purchase more until the following day, which would be a health crisis. Just recently our water/ice maker has stopped working so now we need to investigate that, too. The light in our refrigerator also works intermittently, you just never know what you are going to find when you open the darn door to this thing. And this fridge is only 2 years old, what is to come? We are HUGELY regretting this purchase!

    The problem with buying a floor model that has a scratch or dent is that when they deliver it with a NEW dent there is no real recourse or way to resolve the issue. My contractor received the refrigerator and knew it was a scratch/dent buy but didn't know that the newer and bigger dent wasn't there when it was purchased in store. Refrigerator was wrapped and waiting for the kitchen to be finished and now its outside of the window for return. Its cool that they are happy to hold if for you but it does sit in the store for a long time before I was able to have it delivered due to construction delays.
