What an outstanding value! M_y requirements in order of priority: • Either GE or Whirlpool brand only • French door style • Water only dispenser in door (to avoid bulky ice maker above Ended up getting everything I wanted, PLUS the price was way lower than others in comparison. The chilled water dispenser was on the inside, but so what. AND this refrigerator has two more cubic feet of room inside than I expected I was going to get. The bins inside are much more sturdy than others I checked out. Has a nice, bright light inside too. I really like everything about this fridge, even the handles on the doors seem more modern and felt rugged.

So far, it's been great, except for the ice cubes are a bit wet and get stuck occasionally. I didn't like the pink plastic covering all the surfaces, it took hours to take off. Otherwise, it's keeping things longer than the old one and the freezer setup is much better. Well built inside, just hope the flap in the center holds up. A great value for a mid priced with dispenser on the door, and more space with the ice maker built into the door.

I am so happy with my new fridge. I purchased online and the process was easy. I received updates and the delivery was fast.

Physically, this fridge was premium compared to the Kenmore it replaced. It just felt more solid. Too bad the electronics portion of temperature control in the fridge began failing at 2 weeks of ownership. I had a thermometer in the fridge and freezer. Once every day or so, the fridge would literally warm to 52 degrees and condensation would form on every object and wall in the fridge. This was with the temperature set at 34 degrees. After an hour or so, it would cool back down to 34-ish. GE sent out one of their "authorized" 3rd party technicians. He told me my fridge was going through an automatic defrost cycle and warming to 52 degrees was considered normal and refused to replace any parts. I asked GE to replace the fridge and they would not because a technician had to deem it unifixable. I ultimately returned this fridge and replaced it with a Whirlpool.

Compared to the LG, Doors are kinda of heavy, and you really need to push them closed. I do love the ice and water dispenser.

It is great to have a fridge that has water and 2 ice makers when it gets over 100 degrees outside!

Love my new fridge though went through hell getting it delivered! After second attempt to deliver the workman were able to deliver the refrigerator.

Owned this fridge for 4 years and it's a lemon. Had 3 separate catastrophic failures resulting in throwing away food. Freezer condenser fan went out at 1.5 years. Circuit board failed at year 3 so had no power going to the controls in the front. Refrigerator condenser fan went out at year 4. In addition, one of the LEDs went out and they're wired in series so I lost all the lights because of this. I contacted GE before throwing it out because this is a lemon and they offered no viable solutions. For comparison I bought my parents a similar Whirlpool 8 years ago and had zero service calls and the build quality was better. The build - like the doors and drawers and thickness of plastic parts felt more solid than the GE. The GE water dispenser leaks droplets after every use, ice is shot all over the place, ice maker has to be opened up regularly for stuck ice, veggies get frozen in bottom frige drawer, etc. GE has all the features of a comparable Whirlpool on paper, but everything is just implemented in a terrible way.

If I could give this product less than 1 star I would. We purchased this refrigerator less than 16 months ago, haven't even paid it off through financing and it is not working and leaking butane (new refrigerant) into the fridge and freezer contaminating our food. We have had 4 services people (1 none GE tech, 3 GE techs) out to try and fix the problem and GE will still not make us whole and give us a new refrigerator. Instead they just told my husband today after the last tech told us he could fix the problem that they would give us a new fridge for another $500 or we can wait another 3 weeks for a 5th technician to try and replace all the parts again. We cannot afford another $500. We have already been 2 month without a refrigerator, lost over $500 in food from the fridge and freezer when it stopped working. We've had to take off work 4 times for the services techs to come and the inconvenience of having to buy food every day, since we have no place to store extra food and they're playing games. I purchased a GE because they used to sell good quality American products, but apparently that is no longer the case. I will never purchase another GE product again. Great job GE you lost a customer for life and you can be sure I will be telling anyone who will listen about this experience.

After 6 months, temps were above 40F and milk was going bad (even with the temp set to 34F). The GE techs came out 4 times. Ultimately they said their computer wasn’t displaying any errors and declared “the fridge was working fine” (even after showing them liquid temps with a temperature probe and using an infrared thermometer which both read 44F). After elevating the issue, they still wouldn’t do anything. So, after 9 months of use, I had to purchase a new fridge (LG this time).

Bought this to replace an older model GE. The refrigerator is spacious and easy to customize. Only wish it came with a freezer ice cube maker like our old model, but the in door one works perfect with no leaks. (freezer ice maker available separately on this model for about $150).

This fridge has the same H/W/D as the fridge in my kitchen. Delivery gentleman said it would not fit. They insisted it was too tall for the space. I also received a voicemail stating it was too tall and was being returned to the warehouse. They took lots of measurements and even took pictures of the measurements. It is definately a tight squeeze on the sides and the current fridge was banged up from when the flooring was replaced and fridge was carelessly shoved back into its spot. But the current fridge has a couple inches of space between the fridge and the cabinets above it. So [even with all the measurements they showed me and took pictures of] I really don’t understand how it is too tall. They offered to drop it off, but refused to connect the water [which I paid for]. This was so much work and trouble for nothing. So much wasted time.

We bought this refrigerator in May, it is broke down again the second time it will not make or dispense ice cubes, please send techs to repair it. Thank you Milo Sylfest.

I bought this refrigerator 1 1/2 years ago. Just last week it died. Today GE repair came out (already a week without refrigerator) and said it is the Compressor. Cost to repair is over $800. I find this simply unacceptable that a refrigerator needs a new compressor being relatively new. A compressor should be good for at least 8 to 10 years under normal use. Mine is a 2 adult household, minimal wear and tear on major appliances. It is a sealed system (compressor) but the warranty is only for 1 year. At the cost of almost $2000 I think this is completely unacceptable. I would NOT recommend due to my experience...

brand new delivered today, it's beautiful but...freezer doesn't work, 5 1/2 hours later it is still warm to the touch, that' s not right. Display shows that it is at 0 degrees. Called to report and now I have to wait 3 days for someone to come out to look at it to see what is wrong, not acceptable, no Best Buy for me, this is the 2nd time I have bought an Applicance and have had issues. so disappointed delivery has gone bad
