    Heated up the kitchen microwave so fast from the stove top burners that we had to turn on the fan on the microwave. Its worried us every time we turned it on. We got rid of the oven and swapped it for a better oven this week.

      We are sorry this model didn't meet your expectations. It is normal for the cooktop to be hot when you are cooking inside the oven. This is especially true if you have been baking or broiling for an extended period of time. On Freestanding Gas Ranges, the oven is usually vented up through the backsplash and heat from the oven is directed downward toward the cooktop so we do recommend that you use the vent fan above to help vent and cool the cooktop.
