We shopped around looking at different hoods. We decided on this one. It looks great in the kitchen and runs very quietly and all three speeds. We like having the two options with the lights. Nothing bad to say about this one. Looks great.

This GE 30” convertible chimney hood vent is supposed to come with a remote control. The remote was not in the box. I am waiting to hear from GE about getting it replaced. Except for missing remote, this is a really nice vent, quiet. Works well.

Just had it installed. Goes great with my Samsung Refrigerator. Exhaust is strong. Gives a great new look to my kitchen. We did not exhaust to the outside. Works great. I have 9 foot ceiling and the chimney fit perfect. The LED lights are bright. It is very simple to operate. Would recommend it to anyone. Great look.

I love the look of the range hood and how It's updated the look of my kitchen. The exhaust fan works great. I gave it 4 stars because there are 2 light bulbs and the right one stopped working the first week I had it and I haven't found a place to purchase a new one yet. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with my choice.

Once it was mounted to the wall it worked, and continues to work well. The difficulty was in the installation. It eventually required some pros after i tinkered with it for a bit.

The fan assembly is on the left side leaving little to no exhaust on the right side. It is also to close to the filter so all the air goes through one spot. The unit comes with halogen lights that work fine but get hot. I would recommend changing them out to LED, if not eventually when you goto change the bulb the plastic housing will crumble. The stainless steel shell is built well.

Light is fantastic, the the whole unit is. Would definitely recommend and buy agan!

Product was as described and very good quality. Instructions for modifications based on my ventilation type (exterior) were poor. One piece that needed to be installed due to venting did not fit and required me to bring edge down on grinding wheel. Looks great with matching appliances.

We purchased this range hood because it has 4 fan settings and 2 light settings. but after installing it we found the halogen lights to be really, really hot, adding to the heat from cooking. It would be easy to get a nasty burn while cooking. Then the exhaust didn't work well, and not at all on the right side. The fan is mounted on the left side so the only steam and cooking odors being removed is from the left side. This has got to be the worst design flaw ever. The exhaust from the right side burners of the stove just billow up and into the kitchen. It works fine as long as you only cook on the left side of your stove. Also, the exhaust from the left side blows right back into the kitchen through the exhaust vent on top, even though the deflector is installed as directed. We returned the range hood to the store. What happened to quality control? Very disappointed in GE for this oversight.

Very nice and elevated the kitchen. Works like a dream! Very nice and well built.

My daughter bought a fancy expensive range hood. Okay does the same exact job ours does. The only diff oh well, she takes longer to clean hers because her vent goes to the ceiling, her husband had a hard and long time putting it together, hers is loud, and people always ask what is that noise.

Love this hood - the look of it really modernizes my kitchen and it's quiet enough that it isn't annoying from a sound perspective when it's on full speed.

Does the job of a Hood range fan, with two spotlights. Has a nice clean look that fits perfectly over the stove range. Good buy for the price.

I recently purchased this GE Convertible Range Hood to replace an older model that I had in my kitchen. The hood is very sturdy and looks sharp. It has three basic speeds and the lighting is very bright in a darkened kitchen. A great value for the price.

Looks great and very quiet on low settings. This range hood replaces an old one we had for years. It works great and is very stylish.

It is a great hood. Nice air flow with multiple settings for what ever your cooking. Great set of lights on it also really lights up the stove top.

Perfect fit for the range. The Samsung hood was too expensive so the saleswoman helped me pick out a less expensive hood and it's a perfect match.
