We love how quiet the fan is, especially compared to our old one. One thing we didn't notice that we wish we would have was the use of halogen bulbs in this unit. We could do without the extra heat and would have preferred LEDs.

It fit perfectly where the old vent fan was installed. Not too difficult to install. The multiple fan and light settings are great. You can even purchase a remote, although I'm not sure why someone would... :)

It has a lot of options for fans and I've never seen such great lighting on a hood. Using it the first time wasn't the easiest, but once you know what all the buttons do it works great!

The dim setting also works great as a night light over the stove.Stainless steel makes it easy to clean.

The lighting is good. I use the lowest setting and it sounds like it is on high compared to the one we replaced. But it sucks out the steam and smoke from cast iron grilling.

I bought this vent to match my range, and it’s not very powerful at all. I sear meat and vent just can’t handle all the smoke. I have to open up all my windows and turn on ceiling fans to clear out the smoke buildup in my kitchen. It only sucks up on one side (left), even though it has screens on both sides. The other side (right) is just for looks. Wimpy :(

Posted .We'd like to assist with your range hood not pulling smoke on both sides. Both sides of the range hood should be pulling smoke. The first step we recommend is to make sure the metal grease filter and the charcoal filter are both clean. The metal filter needs to be cleaned every 6 months or as needed. The charcoal filter can't be cleaned, so it will need to be replaced every 6-12 months or if it's noticeably dirty or discolored. You can find instructions for cleaning and replacing the filters on pg. 7 of the owner's manual that's located on the product homepage in the "Features" section under "Manuals & Guides." If this doesn't help, the next step we recommend is to make sure the hood is installed properly using the installation instructions on pages 9-20 of the owner's manual. If the issue continues, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our Bodewell Service Team by calling 1-833-426-3393.
Great Vent Hood!

I am very pleased with this and I like that it has LED lights. It was a little expensive compared to other models but it is worth spending the extra money.
