Finally arrived after 6 months. It fits perfectly and looks great

It works, quality could have been better. It's made of hard plastic and I thought it should have cost less, kind of pricey for plastic.

This trim kit is an injection molded plastic frame with a very thin stainless stamping adhered to the front only (not the sides) of the plastic frame. The choices are slim, so I settled. My last GE Profile trim kit was solid metal and heavy. This one weighs nothing and is still expensive. I guess GE keeps the profit. The sides of this trim kit is cut away (presumably for venting) so you can see inside and see the plastic ribs on the core side of the plastic frame, which looks cheap. My main message to GE is that the diminishing quality IS NOTICED by your customers. A high quality budget part does not look the same as a high quality nice part. To buyers, please be VERY careful you order the exact correct trim kit for your microwave. GE constantly changes the numbers and randomly discontinues items, and they seem unable to design new microwaves that use older trim kits. Part number matching is critical.

Item fit perfectly, was easy to install. It gave me back the original cabinet look.

Product fit my old microwave cabinet. A bit tricky to install, but following details od installation will result in a complete replacement.

Fit on the trim kit is excellent and it made for a nice addition/match to the double oven. No issues with the professional installation - very pleased with the size and look! High recommend this trim kit to give your kitchen the finished look with GE Profile appliances!

Pretty easy to install and more secure.the color is great, easy to clean and doesn't leave such a large gap between the microwave and the trim. All in all, it is a great product. My only knock is the price. Coming out with specific trim and charging as much as the microwave for it make it almost not worth buying.

It's a stainless steel trim. Not much to say. Looks nice. I will mention if you are replacing a built in microwave & trim, but not the actual cabinet there might be a difference in the trim size. If this trim isn't the "exact" same measurements as your previous trim, defects hidden under the old trim may now show. That's what happened to us. Even though the microwave was the exact same as the one being replaced, the trim package wasn't (the opening was but not the area that shows around it). Now we have an unsightly small defect from the original cabinet builder showing just below the new trim. Can't really be fixed because it's veneer type wood. Hope this made sense.

GE white trim kit for microwave fits well to replace a GE from 2002, so great! Especially since the color white is hard to find any more.

Perfect fit, matches microwave exactly. Nice clean look, East install, good instructions. A bit pricey, 60% of the price of the microwave.

Pricey but necessary. Measure your opening first and ensure it is rectangular. Note, there are two sizes of trim bezels available, 27" and 30". The trim slides on past the outer edges of the microwave so you need 3/4" in addition to the microwave width. The vents are on the top and sides so the trim does not sit flush, it is out about 3/8" from the cabinet but even with the microwave face. Kinda pretty, just different and we have no other options.

It fits the microwave I bought. Kind of a self explanatory item. You either need it for your microwave, or you don't. It was easy to install.

Expensive but well made and easy to install to help replace an older broken GE Profile micro & trim kit

Happy with color matches appliances. Fits the microwave, but cabinet needed adjustment. Downside Frame is now plastic trim they no longer make them from metal.

Had to purchase a new microwave after the original one lasted nearly 16 years. The bases on the microwaves change and needed this one to install the new unit. The exterior trim looks nicer than my old one but I saved it because the original one was still like new. Easy to install and highly recommended. I just wish that I could have saved a little money by only purchasing the base without the trim piece. These kits are expensive...nearly as much as the microwave unit itself! LOL

Quality is nice for the price. Make sure the dimensions match with the microwave and cabinets. There are less than 1-inch straight gaps side of the frame. I don't know the purpose of it but the gaps there.

Good frame easy to use a d install, it make a good combination with the full set and complement the installation process
