We were not happy at all but since it was the 2nd microwave and trim kit to be delivered we took it. We had a terrible time finding a microwave that would fit into the space where we had the old one and were tired of messing with Best Buy. I was able to fix the Bent portion but not the scratch. It was expensive and very cheaply made.

Poor quality control

There was also an issue with the microwave that I ordered at the same time. Best Buy/GE were unable to provide replacements and I ended up returning both. Issues identified by the installer - they did good work. Units should never have been released from the factory.

By then they would no longer accept the trim return. Not sure what we are going to do with GE trim and no microwave. :(

Cheap Construction in poorly engineered

Even when properly installed, the microwave door binds on the plastic trim piece due to poor engineering. This product is way below the standard that one would expect from GE Profile.

The instructions were incorrect at times. The pieces were not drilled properly so I had to drill the hole or proper fit. The screws that came with it were not all accurate. Would not recommend at all. I had to give 1 star but reality I award this product no stars and god i have mercy on their souls. - Horrible product
