Great refrigerator. Very spacious. Perfect size for my kitchen

We bought this refridgerator Approximately two years ago. As far as a fridge goes it does the job and the stainless steel is very resistant to fingerprints. it is however a little noisey. We now have a problem with the Led light inside. It started flickering and working off and on, now it doesnt work at all. I searched this GE model number to get the part number and I found it on the GE website and used their exact part number. It looks nothing like what is inside the fridge. Before I did all of this, I checked the manuel and it said that I need a technition to replace it. A small green circuit board with 3 led lights , not what you will find anywhere. Techs charge $114.00 just to come out and look at it, then there is the cost of the part plus labor I figure $ at least $200.00 or more. An LED light bulb would have done the job as far as I am concerned and a heck of a lot easier. I know that GE purposely designed it so you couldn't work on it yourself, you tell me. I would not recommend this modet, find one with a bulb.

We use this as a second fridge in the garage and it's excellent. Does it's job well!

this is not the GE of old - this is a Chinese holding company called Haier Group. DO not buy, bad service and money to Dictator Xi. Looks like these guys have adopted a fix it in the field vs quality control in the manufacturing process. LIke software. It puts the burden of managing that repair on the consumer.

Great product. My garage easily gets over 100 degrees and this thing keeps all of my drinks ice cold.

Good utility room refrigerator. Lots of freezer space. It was well-rated online, and we have not had any problems with its cooling performance. However, it was slightly loud upon installation, and 2.5 years into service it is so loud you can hear it from far away. Putting in a service call might not even be worth it given the price. Bummed out on this purchase.

This is a fabulous refrigerator. Consumers need to be aware that refrigerators don’t come all put together. You have to pay for the extra service fee to get the refrigerator put in your house and the handles put on. The delivery person was extremely rude and left the refrigerator in the doorway and acted like we were stupid not to know that. My awesome son-in-law moved the refrigerator into the house by himself and put the handles on.

I can't fit a larger one in my space, and do not need things like a water dispenser or ice maker. Excellent freezer space and sleek design

It works great with a lot more room then our last one and much more energy efficient.

Perfect for my Mom's garage. Plenty of room for all her cooking. Exactly what we were looking for. The only thing we were wanting that this didn't have was no fingerprint finish.

This fridge is great for the garage, pretty specious and don't need to worry about tech as there is none.

Purchased the 1st in July of 2025. Exchanged it because the refrigerator and freezer temps kept dropping even after adjusting the knobs to the max temp. Held onto the unit for nearly 60 days (courtesy of the membership) The 2nd arrived in Sept and is showing signs similar to the initial unit. Freezer isn’t staying cold. Ice packs are the sure giveaway that the unit isn’t freezing them, at all. GE doesn’t make products like they used to. Similarly, other manufacturers in competition are also making subpar products. Mass produced, low quality parts and tech, cheap materials. It’s one thing that the units don’t last 20 years like they used to but now, they don’t even last a full year. I don’t know how many times I’m going to have to keep exchanging this unit. With the membership ($49/yr), I can exchange this unit every 60 days but the hassle that comes along with that just isn’t worth the product. Manufacturers couldn’t give a care. Best Buy is simply the vendor, the manufacturer. Best Buy stands behind the consumer and are left with having to continue exchanging faulty products. I love GE products of shall I say… I used to. Not many other options for garage ready refrigerators. Frigidaire is completely garbage. The generic brands are no better. Spending a lot for a garage refrigerator just isn’t worth it and the quality of a name brand, American made, reputable company just doesn’t stand up against foreign products. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS UNIT & it’s similar competitors.
