Product was easy to set up and works beautifully. It is compact and does the job for a very damp basement in a old 1400 square foot house.

Perfect for the wet end of our basement, a laundry room approx. 300 sq ft. There is a floor drain, making the hose option extremely convenient. If I shut the door to the laundry area, it works really fast. If I leave the door open, it dries the air in the entire basement in about 12 hours, which is about 5000 sq. ft. It's about as loud as a window air conditioner or fan.

this dehumidifier is way too noisy. Not at all quiet. It does a good job at drawing the moisture. I should have paid attention to how small the chamber is because it has to be changed several times per day

I like how quiet this is. At first I thought I bought one too small, but after it got all the humidity out of the basement it works great.

It takes the moisture out, but has to be emptied often. Not too loud.

This is the second GE dehumidifier I purchased for my home. I placed it in a bathroom. I was little bit shocked when the first time I powered it up since it was extremely noisy. I noticed that a side panel was vibrating loudly. I reseated it then noise disappeared. It is doing a great job. Strongly recommended.

Well priced. Reduces humidity in basement. I empty every other day. Happy with purchase.

Works well and drains with a hose that was bought for it I drain into our sump pump. Easy to set up and use.

I never owned a dehumidifier before, had no need for it. Now that I have a basement, it took me two years to understand what was wrong with it and how to solve this problem. Humidity! I bought the GE, no regrets. Small but it covers a large area. Not a heavy machine is a plus. My husband put it together, no problem. The water collecting compartment comes out easily without spilling. So far, I love it! My basement is a popular place to be now that it is dry!

Works excellent, unfortunately I had a defect on my unit and after a few months it stopped working. However, GE’s customer service was outstanding and they immediately sent me a good will certificate towards the purchase of a new one.

Wish it held more water because i had to dump it multiple times a day but we did have an older basement that was newly dried professionally. But it did do a great job was easy to move around and wasy to remove the container to dump and replace. Worked perfect for what we were needing it for.

Prefect size for the area needed to dehumidify. Emptying is convenient!!

I bought this 35 pt based on the fact that I had a small finished room with a door in the basement that is 200 sq ft. This just could not keep up. It started with 65% humidity. I set it to 50% on high but could never get it below 55% even after running it constantly for a few days. It also has a very small tank which required constant emptying. I exchanged it for the 50 pt and it brings the humidity down to 45% on low in an hour and I empty it every 24 hours. This should have worked in a 200 sq ft room at 65% but just didn't. Recommendation, just get the 50 pt.

I purchased this 4 weeks ago and picked it up at the store contactless delivery which is great.I had bought a 50 pint of the same brand previous and it worked super also so I got a smaller one for a different area very easy to use you are able to hook a hose up and drain to the sump pump well which I have done on the bigger unit.This is a great product I would recommend either size

This dehumidifier was replacing another, older unit. This one worked very quickly in my finished basement and is very efficient. The only drawback is that the holding tank is much smaller than the one I had and needs to be emptied pretty frequently. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase.
