This GE dehumidifier worked for all of one season before it broke. While it was working, it did a great job of removing moisture from my basement. But sadly, when I took it out again this year, it turns on but does not remove water. These are not serviceable and basically can only be replaced. Such a waste. I suspect there is a coolant leak because the fan is fine and I do hear the compressor kick on. The cost cutting measures to make the copper thinner and thinner no doubt plays a role in this. If you are within the one year warranty period, GE will replace or give rebate check up to purchase price on new GE products. Wish I had a working dehumidifier instead.

I recently moved to a new apartment. The unit is partially underground and was getting unbearably humid. I went out and purchased this unit and within less than a day it was noticeably dryer.

Works great! Had a basement flood in a tenants duplex and bought them this to use to help reduce humidty and dry the carpet after the cleaning. Easy to use, easy to dump out.

so far so good! Not too loud, though does emit a warm air, which I imagine is a part of the dehumidification process. I use the extra water it collects to water my indoor plants!

Perfect size and works as expected! Yes, a little on the noisy side but after using for a few days I don’t really notice the white noise.

Clean looking and extremely efficient. The difference in my basement is amazing even though my pre-dehumidifier days didn’t include the humidity and extreme heat we have had lately.

This thing fills up twice in a day during the summer. Didnt know how humid my bathroom got until I got this thing. Love it!!! Use it at night in my bedroom.

I use this in my basement to keep it dry. It has done a great job. It is quiet. I use a hose to a drain so I don't have to keep emptying the bucket.

Easy to set up and use. Other reviews complained about excessive noise, but I don't think it's loud at all.

Secured this in exchange for another branded unit that failed, and so far this machine has outperformed very well. Easy to empty and to control.

Quiet and easy to position in the home. The water reservoir isn’t very large, but neither is the dehumidifier itself. It also doesn’t generate a lot of heat while it’s running.
