Powerful AC that cools two adjacent rooms. A little loud but mostly white noise

Small and compact. In an average open space at low settings it still keeps the whole place cool.

Works great for 10x16 bedroom during summer. Goes down to 64 and is smaller than old one .

It works well but stops in cuts back on it does it threw out the night i just bought it so i don't know if i hit the wrong setting but other than that its a champ

The AC is medium size perfect for a bedroom ans cools right away !

It's a great unit. I use this in a smaller room and it cools great. The only downside is the noise. It's extremely loud. If you do end up getting it, make sure to press the fan button for 3 seconds for continuous fan or else when it reaches the desired temp, it'll turn completely off and when it turns back on, it'll wake you up with a shock lol. I'd give it a 5 star, but the loudness makes it a 3.

This year the central AC in the house went out for about two weeks. I saw these on sale and ended up buying two one for the living room and one at the end of the hall way and I was surprised how well it worked. After I got my ac up and running I ended up putting one in my gaming room and giving one to my parents and they love it. I’d recommend purchasing this one.

Surprisingly quiet for a floor unit. Honestly, I was expecting good performance and poor noise but it's manageable in a small room. The nice thing is that it has auto tilt fans so they can adjust when they're not needed and kick on when they are. Remote is a bit clunky but overall great cooling performance relatively quiet and has held up so far.

It is a great air condition and it work perfect. Not too much noise.

I enjoyed it, not that noisey. It’s easy to move around. The only issue I have is with the exhaust I wish it Had more options for a smaller window

It was easy to get going and install output vent into the window. Cools down our bedroom nicely during the not evenings.

This is my 3rd purchase in a month. I have 1st purchased this a month ago when on sale. Since it was a GE brand I have confidence in buying it. After installation, I found out something was wrong with the unit. It was making a very loud banging sound like something was loose inside. More like a Harley motorcycle sound. I returned it the next day. I did not get a replacement since there was nothing in stock. I then went to a home improvement store and decided to purchase another brand, Toshiba. After a few weeks of using it, I decided to return it because in my opinion the compressor was noisy or too loud. The buzzing sound was too loud for me. I then went back to Best Buy to shop around again. I saw the Insignia brand and GE are both on sale. This time I was thinking which brand should I try next. I checked out the reviews for the insignia especially the noise level. A lot of people say the unit is noisy. To me, the insignia and the Toshiba looked identical in design and features. If the loud buzzing sound on the toshiba is normal, chances are I will have the same sound with the insignia. With that in mind, I decided to second try GE since it was available for pick up and I do not have to wait a week for it. My GE is now installed. There is still the buzzing sound from the compressor but compared to the toshiba, this is a little bit better or quieter. Compared to my 15 year old Amana AC, GE and Toshiba are noisy. My Amana does not make a buzzing sound. I guess this was what I have been looking for, a buzz free compressor that they probably do not make anymore. Before buying this GE, I also read the reviews and was aware of its feature that the ac completely stops when temp desired is reached. So far cooling wise, it is ok.

This one is a little loud, but it works great! I put it in my bedroom, so it’s unfortunate how loud it is.

Works well for a small room. I use mine in my bedroom. The remote is a little buggy. Seems to go through batteries faster than it should.

The unit is very loud. It took a while for my room to get cool. My room is small. Once it did it was nice and cool. Just expected a lot more.

My central air conditioner quit on one of the hottest days of the year. I wenr to best buy, found what I needed. Staff assisted me and placed it in the car. Once set up, it cooled the luving room, the dining room and the kitchen. My husband and I said we would've been able to stay in our home without our portable air conditioner. Janet
