Perfect window AC i bought for my nephew & it keeps the room nice & cool for him

Works really well but after 2 years it freezes over and started blowing out mold

It was a strong little unit and made my apartment super cold, but the unit broke after 3 months.

We purchased this air conditioner in preparation for an upcoming heat wave. Initially it worked well, although getting it connected to Wi-Fi was way more aggravating than it should have been (you literally have to disable your 5GHz band or it won't pair successfully - thanks, Reddit!) However, the unit just flat out died after one week of only moderate use (a few hours a day.) It simply won't turn on - there's no issue with our power breaker, we've tried both a surge protector as well as directly plugging it into the outlet. The light on the plug is a solid green, which should indicate the unit is receiving power, but nothing happens when you try to power it on, whether you're using the remote or pressing the buttons directly. We were able to revive it one time by leaving it unplugged overnight, but the next morning, big surprise, the unit is back to not powering on. We'll be applying for a warranty replacement, for sure, but I'm beyond unimpressed with the longevity, or lack thereof, of this unit. We're about to go into a week of 90+ degree days in New York, with one of those days passing the 100-degree mark, and this air conditioner completely failed us after we spent hundreds of dollars on it. Do not buy this - GE used to mean quality, but not anymore. Hopefully we make it through the week okay, as we don't have $300+ to spend on another unit right now.

Super noisy! Does ok cooling living room. I would recommend buying a different brand.

Nice, square, with corners even. Not squishy. During the current heatwave, we bonded. I would take it out to dinner, but I cant get it to wear a tie.

They surprised me when i went to pick it up because their website when i made the purchase said pick up now and one email said pick it up in 7 days wow.

Excellent product great output just wish they told you to take picture of side of air conditioner before putting it in the window.. it’s the code for the Wi-Fi. But otherwise I love it!!

I got this unit 3 years ago worked perfect till now it wont turn on it beeps its a piece of garbage, ran out of the company guarantee that was just for year then ran out of paid guarantee now wont work .. I swear since its smart they control it for it so wont work and you have to spend More money to repair it my advice stick with old school units they dont make them the same .. dont get smart devices

The unit was easy to set up and it works fine. The fan is a bit noisier than I'd like. The price was less than I'd expected for the unit.

Works well in medium sized bedroom. Remote is very convenient.

Don’t do it!! These have a known motherboard issue. It will die. So time in a few months or the worst is if just after 1 year. GE is offering “goodwill” certificates for failed units in which you then buy a new one cash and they will reimburse based upon the receipt. BUYER BEWARE!!
