Extreme water leakage of the unit. Hopefully, I can get a replacement.

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Mega companies cutting corners.

It stopped working not even two weeks after I installed it.

GE Model AHP08LZW1 8,000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner Easy to install, set up and connect to home wi-fi network. Had unit operating in very little time. Cools quickly and much more quietly than my old unit. Says it cools 350 sf but am using it in a larger space with no issues. Weather is still not hot here so may take longer to cool once 100’s arrive. Features: Weather integration, voice command – hands free assistance, and daily energy consumption reporting. You can control this unit from anywhere using GE’s wi-fi connected appliance app. Recommend buying.

Runs quietly and cools perfectly. I have it cooling about 350 square feet and thermostat registers as low as 60 degrees! Perfect during our recent spell of humid weather. Easy to install and not too heavy for one person installation.

**note-This is heavier than any window unit I have had. The box arrived with everything inside and no excessive packing. I am planning on moving this around my house as needed so i didnt attach it to the window I put it in. I put it together per the instructions, slid it into place and adjusted the sides. Then I downloaded the app, created an account and set out to see how well a smart AC really is. It is in my kitchen set to 65*F and it turned on with the full display. After about 30 seconds the display went off but it kept cooling. This means I can have it in my bedroom at night without a light show!! So, I went outside and walked down the street and changed the temp and it did it telling me the smart ap works. Then I shut the kitchen door and cranked the oven. I had the AC set to 70 and it kicked on perfectly. It is quiet compared to every AC unit I have had so it may find its permanent summer home in the master bedroom. I also love that it is Energy star.

This AC is great, but it was a nightmare to install. Our apartment has storm windows that create an additional ledge that the AC rests on. The bottom of the AC has a cut away design that results in only one corner resting on this ledge, causing the AC to sit crooked. This required me using a piece of wood both in the front (to give proper leverage and tilt), and in the back right corner. Very awkward process, and I'm not 100% sure of the stability of the AC. With all that said, I acknowledge that's a niche issue. Overall the AC keeps our home office very cold while not using too much energy on Eco. The app is very good, which is surprising since a lot of IoT devices have terrible app implementation.

This AC works great. It blows super cold. I live in MS so a cold blowing AC is a must. I highly recommended this. Easy install, comes with a remote, and app for.your phone. Whats nit to love?

Great A/C perfect for mid to small spaces. Remote features works great. Perfect for setting up when on the way home from work.

Excellent ac. I love how it keeps my living room cool and has lasted longer than most AC's. The added remote makes it easy to turn on, off it change the settings from the couch. I recommend.

I have had this unit for 3 years now. It is amazing! Best bang for your buck. It cools the room very nicely. Easy to control. And the fact that i am able to control it from my phone is the best.

I wish I would’ve had a longer time to review this but I had to do it within 7 days so I would’ve liked to do it when the temperature outside is 90 not 54. That being said I was happy to have this because our old air conditioner is about 20 years old. This one is smaller but more powerful & comes with all the seals & gaskets for a tight fit , it fits our double hung window nicely & it looks good. My husband had to assemble the side curtain frame but he installed it quickly. The display is led & can be on steady or you can turn it off. The remote is thin & lightweight also has Braille on it. This has WiFi which is pretty cool for an A/C unit. App setup was super easy & I was able to turn it on from my backyard which is a distance from the house. As far as cooling, it goes down to 64 degrees which is what I had it set at, seemed to cool quickly but again hard to tell when the room is already that temperature. It has eco mode which turns the unit off when it reaches desired temperature & then turns on again when it warms up, I was able to test that feature & I liked it. There are 4 speeds & 3 modes, one being fan only. The reason for 4 stars is that even on low I found it to be a bit loud, & my biggest peeve is that the cord is never long enough. My outlet is not near a window so I always need an appliance extension cord, I was hoping with this newer model they would’ve made it longer,. The cord does have its own breaker though. I can’t wait to see how cool this makes our bedroom in the Summer heat & humidity.

I installed the unit in my 120 sq.ft. work shed, so I didn't need the filler panels that come with the unit. I put it through the existing wall adding a few 2x4's. That said, the unit comes with 2- side curtains (fillers) that accordion to fill the empty space on the sides as you lower the sash down. If you have sliders, you would probably need a couple of Lexan pieces to create a double pane filler above the unit, sliding the sash up against the side of the unit. It comes with a metal top rail and foam gasket, bottom and side seals and 2 foam side curtains (not sure what the foam curtains are used for). As I said, I only needed the seals and top rail for mounting the unit. Lastly, it comes with an easy to read remote, albeit a small and thin remote. It looks fairly easy to misplace. After mounting the unit I scanned the QR code included on the quick start blue card. It linked me to the app on the Google Play Store. The app was easy to install and set up. You need the password that's on the right side of the unit for the app setup. It took just a few steps. Enter the password when it asks for it, open your phone WiFi setting and click the GE network. Press the WiFi button on the unit's front control pad. Go back to the app and it will ask you to click on your home network. Enter that password and it will be connected. The app turns the unit on, sets the location of your home with the current temp, allows you to lower/raise the air conditioner with the built in electronic thermostat. That will allow the unit to cycle on and off to keep it at the desired temp. That's about it. It's got a filter that needs regular cleaning as do the fins outside. It's like a basic window unit, but it has smart features with the app and the built in thermostat so it's not constantly running. If I had one suggestion, I suggest they make the remote magnetic (like the Dyson fans) where the remote could stick to the unit or anything metal so it doesn't walk off.

Unit is easy to use and setup. Filter cleaning removal essy and sealed inside well dirty not passing by. Strong unit and cools room quick. Definitely recommend to buy.

This AC unit is very nice!! It cooled my den in about 30 mins. I love the voice controls. It very quiet and you don't even notice it running in the background. The app needs a little work but it works. I am going to pick up another for the sunporch. Do your self a favor and check this one out. Summers coming.

It works great and is easy to use. Also, even though it’s 96° outside and it runs almost constantly right now it doesn’t sweat and leak condensation everywhere.

This AC works great for our 300 Sq foot living room. It cools really well and super energy efficient! The Wifi is a nice bonus but not something we use.

For as small as this unit is, it's incredibly efficient. It was so easy to install and mount, which had me a little nervous. It cools down a fairly large bedroom or living room pretty fast. It doesn't use as much electricity as I thought it would either. All in all, very happy with this item!
