BestBuy was great with taking back the GE refrigerators. Each of the GE’s compressors made very loud and annoying sounds, from vibrational hums, to high pitch whining that could be heard across the house. The LG can barely be heard. No more GE products for us.

This one may not last a year. Less internal space than the one it replaced. Questionable as to how it holds its temperature in both fridge and freezer. We have frequently found the temperature higher than what it was set for.

The refrigerator and freezer compartments should contain a reasonable food load to help maintain internal temperature. You may notice the "actual" temperature is a degree or two warmer than your "set" temperature if either door has been opened recently or if the refrigerator has just completed a defrost cycle. However, if you notice issues with the quality of the stored foods we would recommend having service out to check the unit to ensure all is well. We wish you all the best! Vikki@GEA

Now that we have resolved the first 2 the fridge is doing ok. The floors cannot be repaired, boards will have to be replaced.
