I recently purchased a new Stainless Steel GE Profile Side by Side Refrigerator from Pacific Sales, owned by Best Buy. The Memorial Day sales were a great incentive. The sales rep Ryan McElroy was a huge help. This new unit replaces a 20 year old GE Fridge and the upgraded quality is wonderful. It also fit the space we had which was important. We are very pleased with the new refrigerator and would definitely buy it again. Best Buy installed it and hauled away the old Fridge. Well done BB

So glad GE still makes this counter depth side by side refrigerator. The choices for these features are very limited. The temperature controls are easily accessed and the water and ice dispenser is great. It's very quiet, even when making ice.

This replaced a tired 26 year old refrigerator of the same brand. Love the design and that it’s very quiet.

So Far i love this fridge. Because it is counter depth it is a little smaller than I am use to but works fine. The best part is that this stainless steel does not get a lot of finger prints. It also is very sleek.

This GE counter depth stainless side by side refrigerator is the perfect size for our galley kitchen. The unit is working very well. The refrigerator section stays dry and doesn’t collect condensation. The freezer makes lots of ice cubes.

Great refrigerator for the price. I was looking to put one in my additional home and was pleased with the quality. Very quite and the stainless steel makes it pop in the kitchen.

Does the job very well. Quiet and efficient. Nice features which are practical. Cavity for installation is small compelling the purchase of the smaller size version of the product.

We are very pleased with our GE frig/freezer. The 21.8 cu ft is perfect size for us, it is easy to reconfigure the shelves when necessary, and there is so much light in both compartments! We hope this one lasts 22+ years like our last GE side by side!

Both design and lighting are very functional, set up was easy, ice and water system work great! We like the automatic temperature control, highly recommend!

THIS FRIDGE IS SMAL.LER THAN I HAD WHICH IS GOOD LOADED WITH SHELVING SO DIFFERENT ITEMS CAN BE KEPT TOGETHER PLUIS 4OR 5 DRAWERS ,HUMIDITY DRAWER GOOD 4 SALADS + I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE WHOLE UNITY FROM TOP 2 BOTTOM, EASY 2 GET INTO ALSO AND THE ICE /WATER/CRUSHED OR CUBES ON DOOR EXCELLENT, PREVIOUS REPAIR MAN SAID BUY GE

Happy with the purchase but could not give it 5 stars due to the ice maker. The cubed ice function works ok but the crushed ice makes a mess inside, which is not easy to clean up. The dispensing of crushed is is also a bit messy.

Bought this a month ago and so far so good. It’s not as fancy as some but ice and water dispensers work well. Holds temp and inside space makes sense

We replaced our broken Samsung frig with this GE model about 1 ½ months ago. The previous frig was also counter depth so we are ok with the storage space. The ice maker and water dispenser have been great. My wife loves the finger resistant surface. The interior lighting is also good. The only negative thing is the noise. Some reviews mention a little noise but most don’t. I believe your happiness with the noise level depends on the noise level of your previous model. The Samsung RSG257 model we had previously didn’t make any noticeable noise when the compressor was running. I assumed any new refrigerator at this price point would also be quiet; however, the compressor and fan noise of this GE model is above my noise tolerance threshold. The frig sets in the cabinet for a built-in look which should lower the noise but it doesn’t. I’m going to try to noise insulate the cabinets behind the frig hoping it reduces the noise level. Maybe GE can help me figure out what else to do? I wish manufacturers were required to publish the noise levels of their appliances.

The only negative is the water dispenser is sometimes messy. Overall it's great

Works very well so far. No complaints. Nice finish and storage arrangments of shelves. Fits nicely into space. Both doors open without needing any additional space between wall and refrigerator. Temperature indicator is helpful above water dispenser.

This is nothing against Best Buy. It seems like the industry is just more difficult now than when we last purchased a counter-depth side-by-side. Our last refrigerator lasted 18 years but, way back then, it was TWICE THE PRICE of this unit. That makes this refrigerator a much better VALUE! But, what’s wrong? Well, this GE refrigerator seems much smaller inside than its predecessor, both having almost the exact same external dimensions. My guess is that, perhaps for energy efficiency, this refrigerator consumes more internal space with insulation. Refrigerator arrived with no shelves installed, etc. Each of them was painstakingly wrapped up, but, then again, it took me almost two hours to unwrap and install all the shelves. Quality seems very good, first. Refrigerator is very quiet, even when ice is finished and dumped into the bin. It’s also very good-looking: the stainless steel is good quality and the handles are very attractive. The dispenser works well, cold water flows well, and the dispenser light will be helpful in the future I think. Similarly the drawers that slide in and out do so very smoothly. The freezer door shelves are WAY too shallow but we’ll just have to get accustomed to that.

Had to replace a 35 year old refrigerator. Went with the counter depth unit which cost a bit more for less space but it fits the space better than the old unit. Apparently they don't build enough depth into the standard refrigerator space. The new unit fits flush with the opening, unlike the old unit, and gives us 4 more inches of clear space in the kitchen. It seems like they build the counter depth refrigerators better than the deeper ones, example is that the back of the unit has a more finished look. It is working well so far.

This refrigerator was delivered by two young men who were very careful to install it perfectly. It looks very sleek and is very spacious. The drawers work very well. It is a pleasure and we are delighted.
