Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've been satisfied with the fridge itself, but the newly-introduced RFID chip they've installed in the water filters is a scam and a half. They're charging $50 EACH for the filters, which they recommend replacing every 6 months, and the fridge will not dispense water if the chip isn't present or doesn't very that the filter is OEM. Identical filters without the chip are about $10 each. If you buy this fridge, you'd better also factor in recurring expenses that are 5x higher than they should be for the life of the fridge.

Worst ice maker ever owned

Has not worked worth a crap since day 1. Will not produce enough ice and will not dispense properly. Don't even bother with this one.

Please make sure the freezer temperature is cold enough to make ice consistently. The icemaker will produce seven cubes per cycle and 100-130 cubes in a 24-hour period. Please review page 14 in your manual. Poor design. There’s no cheese drawer and not very much space in the refrigerator.

Difficult to find proper water filters.. Have bought NUMEROUS GE filters that have NOT WORKED because their sensors don't line up so fridge can read there has been installation. A much cheaper construction than previous refrigerators.
