It took them 4 deliveries to get it right. First delivery broken shelves, second delivery dented door, third delivery defects with the water filter area. I am now on my fourth one which was almost a month later and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Because they use updated technology and include more features, it’s normal to hear them running during regular operation. Information about what sounds you may hear is available on page 44 of the manual; that can be viewed on Best Buy’s product page for the model when you go to the ‘Features’ section and scroll to the bottom. Information about sounds is also available in articles on our GE Appliances website titled “Refrigerator - Normal Sounds and Noises Made” and “Refrigerator - Unusual Noises”. Those articles can be viewed when you look up the titles on our website and click the 'Support' tab. If you think the sound you’re hearing isn’t normal, an appointment with one of our Bodewell service technicians can be scheduled by calling 1-833-4BODEWELL. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ice maker problems: 1.The back of the ice chute dispenser is square even though glasses are round, so crushed ice that comes out of the back corners of the chute misses your cup and shoots onto the ice tray, then bounces onto the floor every time its used. 2. The ice maker is located in the refrigerator and must not be properly insulated because the ice cubes melt and form clumps in the holding box if the ice isn't used frequently enough, and you have to remove and empty the ice container in the sink (after breaking up the chunk/s), then put it back into the frig so it can slowly refill, making a loud clunk every time a new cube falls to the bottom of the storage box. GE has no fix for this- I was told this is the design. GE has come out 3 times in the last 5 months to try to fix the very loud vibrating noise my frig makes, but it is STILL making the noise for up to an hour at a time, multiple times daily. Don't waste your money like I did on this poorly designed, problematic refrigerator.
