This one vents properly, testament to both the product and to good installation.

Good vent hood for the price

If you have 7 inch duct you may have to get a damper for that size duct because the damper that comes with it is rectangle.

Now stuck over a month waiting to get a replacement unit and new installation! I’ll rate again once received.

It is nowhere near as quiet as advertised. I ised a decibel meter to verify this. The GE web site says it runs at 1 sone on the lowest speed. Not True. 1 sone equals 28decibels. This range hood had a noise level of 52 decibels on the lowest speed. Not good.
