    I purchased this to upgrade an undersized unit in my living room. The unit has been unable to decrease the room temperature, where my older and smaller AC could do so on all but the hottest days. This brand new AC can’t even cool a room when it’s 80 outside. I will be returning it for a refund and never purchasing a GE appliance again.

    Over priced garbage. Bought two GE A/Cs and the bought failed within 2 years. Smaller unit lasted 1.5 years larger one blew right at 2 years.

    Bait and switch, this unit is being advertised as a 10,000 BTU it’s not it’s 8,000, Best Buy continues is deceptive practices of charging more for less

    This smart AC has a mind of its own; Initial operating resulted into a block of ICE; Power Cycles off / as soon as you attempt to power the unit on; completely useless! GE Customer Service interaction takes several days - with the ultimate response - we do not service these; return to vendor for a replacement :-/

    Item came damaged. Issue to return unless you go in person. Which. When you do that. Eazy peazy. Next time just go in person for this. The delivery of such a heavy item means they gonna toss it around and its going to get damaged.

    Bought this air conditioner and a soft ware issue caused it to shut down a month after purchase. GE said to contact best buy, best buy said it's not their problem. Still trying to get someone to fix it. GE even stated they are aware this is a flaw on this model but still is being difficult.

    It doesn’t keep a 150sq ft room cold. The auto mode doesn’t work, as it never cuts off. My guess is that because it can’t get the room as cold as you have set, therefore the auto can’t cut it off. My smaller, cheaper unit from another store worked much better.

    Shopped blowing cool air a few weeks after purchase. Was outside the return date for best buy so called ge. They want me to purchase another one with my own money then send the receipt in for a reimbursement after but cant do that tell i have approve which can takr up to a week.

    Based on the ads and information on Best Buy site the unit should have been much colder in a small room. I would not recommend this window air conditioner. The remote is dumb, you can not tell what mode or speed. The Wi-Fi connected then stopped, I can't get it connect again.

    Something weird is going on with these. The first one I bought was missing the installation hardware and the remote, and had physical damage. Then the replacement unit I got stopped blowing cold air after three weeks. Avoid.

    I think the unit was damaged during delivery. When we opened the box there was an oil type stain on the instructions as well as the inside of the container. When the unit was installed it only blew warm air around regardless of its setting. Never cooled the room.

    This unit is not able to cool my room which is only 300 square feet. I have tried all the settings and read the instructions to make sure I have been using it properly. Please let me know the procedure to return this product to the store. Thank you.

    If I could give it ZERO stars I would. WiFi went out and then the entire thing shut down 1-year after purchase. This was an expensive purchase, GE is charging us to fix this AC. They lost a customer. It’s trash! Buy the most basic air conditioner and save your money.

    My air conditioner quit working one month AFTER the warranty expired (a little over a year). Unacceptable to me, but I have no recourse. I would never buy this brand again.

    The Wifi is so hard to connect, Didn’t showed up and the app that requires is outdated, it will make you download a second app
