Even using the right cleaning products (GE says mild soap and water) it immediately started looking dirty and rusty. I have had to watch numerous videos and do extensive research on how to clean rust off, how to season and oil and bake the grates. Nightmare. I never wanted all this extra work.

Please know that you do not have to season the grates of your range, as they do not directly come in contact with food. We'd like to review this further. Love that the timer continues to beep until I stop it. No way to miss that the timer has gone off as with my previous stove. Easy to clean surface. Oven space is a bit smaller than a previous oven, but I can still fit in what I need to when cooking multiple items in the oven. Very happy with purchase and price.
