Very good gas range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a range just 6 yrs. old that cost twice as much but had several problems after warranty expired. New oven heats much quicker and maintains a more consistent temperature. Stove top has quality gratings and center grill and nice look. The broiler is below, not inside, the oven, hence it is a bit low. Nonetheless we are pleased with this range.

I do not use metal kitchen utensils, but the black soft plastic and the surface is showing wear! I'm going to contact GE to see if the will replace the griddle. Until I get a response from them I'm not going to recommend this item. So far the oven and burners operate well but disappointed in the griddle

Kneel to use broiler

The individuals who came to install the stove did not install it correctly. That caused a bad gas leak in my house and me and my kids could have passed away. I had to have someone come out and fix it. Best Buy made it right for me in the end.

But when it was delivered I was very impressed with how these two men used these shoulder straps and carried it up my porch steps with a turn and did not have to take door off. It was so smooth,very happy and impressed.

Its been a month, and so far doing great! Still need to wait a few more months to determine how this lovely stove does. Both Customer service and delivery service did a great job!

I hate chemical smells from cleaners and smells from self cleaning as well. Maybe I will have to bake a pie just to have a reason to try the steam clean. I think it is a great idea for the health of the environment and humans.
