Received new stove and had it Installed professional by Best Buy and next day when I opened the oven door it fell off and now I’m waiting two weeks for a new stove so I couldn’t even use my brand new stove for Christmas or New Years! Absolutely ridiculous.

I had all the burners going on the stove and the back panel began to crackle and pop. The heat warped the panel. When I had the geek squad come out, I was not home but my 26 year old son was. They told him that the burners were only for certain size pots and that I had too much on at once. When the geek squad asked about my experience I complained and to this day have not heard back from them. I called to have the stove returned only to be hung up on and never called back.

Range came damaged & installers put it in that way. Had to wait several weeks for a replacement.

This range was $700. It went into an existing gas location that was working fine. The base price for installation was $180. Added to that was the required gas install kit for $33. Added to that was the haul away charge for the old range for $20. When the installers arrived, they said that the existing shutoff valve was not up to current code and, if I wanted the range installed, it would be another $135 for a new valve. Then, when it was partly installed, they discovered that the electric wire was too short by a few feet to reach the plug. They did not have an extension. I'm headed out to the hardware store to get an appliance extension cord so that I can complete the installation. That's a total of $368 for a gas unhook and hookup that took 15 minutes tops. Part of the issue is that Massachusetts requires a plumber to do the gas connection, but $368 to install a $700 appliance into an existing location is outrageous. And, in the end, it is still not installed!

This range replaced an existing gas range we had. The color, slate, is very nice. I was a bit concerned about the color but I love it. The finish is so easy to keep clean. No fingerprints or smudges, that's a plus in my book. The burners are nicely spaced. Large pots fit with no problem. I have not used the griddle yet and may not. I am going to order the grate for the center burner as I would get more use from that. It is nice to have the griddle though if I ever want to use it. I have baked everything from dinners to cakes in the oven and love the convection. My previous oven did not have convection. The bottom drawer is large/deep enough to store my average size pots. So glad we purchased this. We installed it ourselves without any issues.

This range was delivered to my home in July 2018. February 2020 the oven sometimes preheats, sometimes does not and when it does it does not keep it's temperature. I called GE in April 2020 and a GE repairman came out and ordered me new parts. A week later the repairman was back to replace the parts. Nearly everything in the range was replaced (keep in mind this is 7-8 months out of warranty and I was expecting to pay for these repairs). The new parts did not fix the problem and he told me the unit was irreparable and now I must replace my less than 2 year old range.

After waiting a month to receive my stove, it arrived damaged. The technician said it had been dropped when being moved. The frame was off center. Manager Jessica has ordered another stove but that means I do not have a stove over the holidays. I am to receive the new stove January 3rd (unless there are repeated delays as there were on the first stove). I have now been told to have the first stove hooked up to gas and to use it until the new one arrives but because the oven door does not close completely, I hesitate to use the oven. Even if it works, I worry heat will "leak" into the kitchen. This has been a very frustrating, numerous phone call, dissatisfying experience. Hopefully the new stove will be all I anticipated when it actually arrives. Even though by the time I got to the management level things were taken care of, I seriously doubt I will ever buy another appliance from Best Buy.

The controls for the oven did not work properly and GE was useless. They wanted to send a technician to fix a stove that I had for 24 hours. No way. With much difficulty and store personnel's incompetence, I finally got it returned. I bought a different brand at a different store.

After my first week the burners and grilles were looking all beat up. Like they were old. Just to put the pots they would scratched. I had to return it!!

the first one delivered was dented and oven door didn't line up. Waited 3 weeks for new one and storage door doesn't line up. Very cheaply made. will never buy another GE product. Support from Best Buy has been terrible.

After waiting all day the delivery was rescheduled for a week so we picked it up and installed it and we really enjoy the product we’re just not happy with the inconvenience that Best Buy put us through And will probably not be purchasing any more appliances from Best Buy.

Still waiting for replacement parts form delivery people. Since Dec 22, 2016.

I need to keep the window open a little all the time to remove the gas smell.

I debated for days between this model and the slide in, but one thing that I didn't need to debate is the actual GE stove. Our last house was built in 2014 and had a GE stove and I knew I wanted to the same thing. I absolutely love this stove. The oven heats super quick and the convection works like a dream when I host mother's day brunch. No complaints here! And....I have yet to use the large center burner that I just had to have.....

This oven is beautiful - looks like a million bucks and runs just as nice. Was a perfect fit for a kitchen makeover we did. More importantly, it feels like a much higher end unit vs. the price. A+++.

GE got this one right. The middle griddle is great for pancakes or grilled sandwiches. The power boil burner is a real plus here at altitude where it takes longer to get water up to temperature. Looks great and cooks like a dream.

This was a decent product. I’ve enjoyed the incorporated griddle. I’ve used it to cook pancakes, eggs, and others. However, the one annoyance is that this particular model didn’t have switch to turn the light on in the oven. I would have to open the oven door to activate the oven light. Otherwise, it works as expected.

while we like our new GE stove/oven and had a great experience in the store with the sales and delivery staff, it is taking some time to get used to the differences from our old stove. for example, there is more distance from the burners to the surface of the pots and pans. it takes longer to boil water for a small pot of eggs. I didn't expect a learning curve for using the stove. the flame from the high output burner is too large to use a smaller pot/pan on it. I'm sure we'll get used to it, we just did not expect it.

Decent stove for the price. One of the nice things is the large cook surface. Compared to other 30in stoves this has one of the largest cooktop areas because the grates go edge to edge. This gives it at least 2-3in more space than many others I looked at. My only knock on it is that the bottom storage door is really cheap/chintzy feeling. Seems like that won’t be to durable but that’s a minor thing overall I guess.

Don't buy the GE Brand. Dials are all plastic and melt with regular oven use. By the comments, GE has known this is an issue for over 8 years, and consider it "Cosmetic". No good alternatives to buy for GE Stoves. Spend your money on a better brand.
