Customers appreciate the excellent heating performance and ease of use of the 5.3 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Electric Convection Range. The design, including the moveable bottom plate, and the price point were also well-received. However, some customers expressed concerns about the glass top's sturdiness, the storage drawer's functionality, and the quality of the knobs.

This stove does everything we need it to, and our favorite thing about it was the price. We enjoy the convection bake option and the easy clean rack at the bottom of the oven. Although the oven heat is not completely even, we have learned to turn the baking sheet halfway through baking for best results. We also limit our baking to one rack because two-rack baking doesn't give us even results. One issue we have had with it is that the stove randomly beeps at us from time to time and the display acts as though someone else has control of our oven. Thankfully, we have never seen the oven actually turn on during this time. We didn't set up the Wifi connection, so it may be from that. Over all, we are happy with our purchase, especially when compared to other, more expensive ovens we have bought in the past.

Does everything an oven and stove-top should do. Heats quickly and evenly, buttons are easy to push, easy to clean, easy to install. Love the removable bottom tray for a quick clean.

I love my new GE oven. I do a lot of baking, and the no-pre-heat feature is AMAZING!!!! I no longer have to wait a long time for my oven to be at the temperature I need. Also, it cooks my items perfectly every time. I highly recommend this oven if you do a lot of baking. I love the pizza and convection feature also. Hands down, it is one of the best ovens I have ever owned.
Thank you for your great review! We love hearing how well this model works, especially the no preheat feature. We know it will serve you well for a long time to come. -Kacie@GEAppliances

Basic range with the added value of the bottom drip tray is removable. Had not had the opporutnity to use it yet but no more bending over and stretching to clean out the bottom of the oven. Yay!

My only complaint is that the appliance does not come with an instruction manual or a link to a website where I can find this manual. Sure they provide one of those links to a "small square," that some cell phones can scan to get that manual. My cell phone does not have that capability. So I now have to waste my time looking for the manual.

It’s electric and a smart stove. The stove has a sensor to detect if any burners are used and if there aren’t any used, it’ll turn off automatically as to not burn the house down. It heats up really quick and can get really hot at the highest setting. The oven settings are easy to understand and use. I haven’t used the steam wash setting het but that’s because I prefer to hand was my dishes. The only downside I would say is that since the top is glass, it is prone to scratches and/or breaking from slamming down pots and pans too hard or sliding them. Overall great product, would recommend.

Lots of great features if you're patient enough. Convection feature is great, but calling it a "no preheat" is not at all accurate. Further, the "Power oil" burner always seems to be the slowest to boil anything for me. The moveable bottom plate is a great feature, but could stand to cover a little more real estate
We're thrilled to hear you're loving your oven's performance and easy-to-clean cooktop! If you haven’t already, we recommend trying the EasyWash Oven Tray—it makes oven cleanup even simpler with its removable, rinseable design that fits perfectly in any GE Appliances dishwasher. For more information, see page 28 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances

I really like this stove. Heats up quickly, has two burners that can switch back and forth between small and large size for different size pots and pans. Is WiFi enabled so you get notifications when timers and oven preheat is complete. The cost was very reasonable for the value.

I really love how this oven cooks our food on the stovetop and in the oven. However, cleaning the smooth top is a challenge. It is much harder than my previous smooth top. I can get it clean but it is way too much effort. I hope it doesn't look worn earlier on the top due to the need for harder sponges and scraping to get it clean.

Overall a very nice range. Appreciate the convection oven, the glass cooktop with 5 burners (2 burners with pot size options), and the Slate color. Wish the numbers by the dial knobs were easier to see. It takes awhile for the glasstop burners to heat to boiling/cooking temperature, so if you want fast heat, you probably need to choose a gas range. I personally like how easy it is to clean a glass cooktop, and prefer electric over gas. I had a previous GE range that worked well, so chose to purchase GE again.
