Easy to buy from in-store stock. Easy to install in window. Cools rooms quickly. Remote control is great & easy to use. Best Buy had lowest price for this size a/c of 12,000 BTU. GE makes very reliable products. So happy with my purchase!

I am currently being bathed in the warm wind provided by the second unit that failed within only a couple months of use. Long story short, GE's rebate program is as time-consuming and frustrating as possible, beginning with the fact that the phone number listed in the manual prompted me to "Call back during business hours" no matter what time of day I called it. Eventually I had to try other phone numbers I found online (at least three of them). The rebate tracker they gave me never verified that they were even aware of my request and it did not ever update. I did eventually receive a rebate, but long after I had given up dealing with support. The rebate program forces you to buy the same unit instead of one that doesn't have issues (to be fair, I would be shocked if GE actually makes one that doesn't break within a year). They don't cover the sales tax, which is about $40 in my state, multiplied by two since I had to purchase it twice. This is a policy that I'm sure is an industry standard, but that doesn't make it suck any less. The unit is installed six feet from my computer and I literally cannot hear people in my headset when it's running. Oftentimes ice will form if it isn't constantly running on high. GE Answers may try to suggest I installed it wrong or didn't clean it, but they would be mistaken. This is simply a terrible product. No wonder my mother laughed at me when I told her I bought a GE product. I bought Geek Squad protection this time so I never have to deal with GE support ever again. I'm hoping they give me a different unit, preferably a different brand altogether.

Got exactly what i paid for. Good price and well built. Cools large living room almost too well.

Currently used in a trailer and keeps the trailer cool not noisy and just drip lots of water. Its on 24/7 and super easy to install

Works great and love the option of controlling with my phone. Looks sleek, doesn’t stick out lick a sore thumb.

This air conditioner was able to quickly cool the lower level of my home. It is rated for 550 square feet but with a stand alone fan I have I was able to circulate air and the air conditioner was able to keep a 1200 square foot area at 68 degrees even on the hottest days. The only complaint I have is that every time you turn it on you have to pick the settings you want. It does not save the last settings you used.

Excellent AC! Very powerful. Finally this one cools off my office. My old one wasn't really cooling the office. Purchased another one and that one barely kept it cool. This one does the job. Remote is basically useless because you can not see the controls on the ac because the LED is so dim. Its best to just go to the AC and change the settings manually OR use the APP. The app is simple and easy to use and set up

AC makes the whole house cold in a matter on minutes. Great power and setting can be controlled through your phone

Blows really strong and cold! Very cold to be exact. But adjustable for comfort worth the money. This cools up a medium room but in my case it cools up my entire apartment!! Very good AC with remote!

This unit cools very well and it’s even more impressive since this unit is not all that big. It cools better than some much larger units I’ve seen. It is a bit loud so you may not want to install it in a bedroom.

Really powerful window AC unit. It’s pretty heavy, so you’ll want to get some help putting it in. But it’s cooling power is pretty amazing.
