-It’s a fairly loud unit for being new. I expected quieter. -The remote is not responsive from anywhere in the room unless I’m right in front of the unit, and then what’s the point of using it? -You can’t read the lighted displays at all if there is any sunlight on it. -The high gloss of the touchpad shows every finger print.

She bought it for her new remodeled room bedroom and it’s pretty big and it close it down really well it’s quiet it turns off when it gets too a temperature you want it. I would recommend it.

Cools very well, got for a living room/dining room and hall area. Perfect size (make sure to measure square footage - it really makes a difference!). Nice and quiet unit also. At first it sounds noisy when its working harder when you first turn it on, but when it reaches temperature, it runs nice and quietly.

My apartment is only 471 square feet and this ac unit seems to work hard to keep it cool. It’s very loud as well. I have to press the power button for it to light up the control panel which is very difficult to see in a lowly lighted room. I wouldn’t buy this model again.

As far as cooling, this air conditioner works well. It replaced my old one that was 8 years older and was not cooling the home. One flaw in the design is that the dials are hard to read…the panel should have been black so that one is able to see the settings. It is very difficult to read white writing on a light background. It also does not keep the same settings when you turn it off….bummer!

Back in july I went to visit my father & his new apt was extremely hot. Right away I went & bought him this one as it was the only brand available in stores, ran back & installed it. My father says it works like a charm & keeps his apt frozen... which is good given he's elderly! It would have never been my 1st choice as im a Honeywell, LG customer for their superior ac's but so far so good but im glad he likes it & that this item was available that day...

Good, powerful window unit. Other reviews said it was incredibly loud but to me its just as loud as any other window unit ive been around my entire life. Cools off large areas very well

This unit has been amazing since I purchased it a little over a month ago. I originally thought I would need a bigger unit for the space. Turns out this unit has exceeded my needs.

Great air conditioner coools the whole house and easy to operate highly recommend u wont be disappointed..

This ac was perfect. I like the wifi feature controlling ac from phone especially when the remote is too far to reach. Lol. It’s nice and cool and was perfect during a two week heat wave. I recommend.

Good AC for small to medium room. The display turns off after a few minutes of idling which can be annoying. The remote is low range. Other than that, the AC blows cold air just fine.

I purchased this for my daughter, to cool down her bedroom in her knew place. I was impressed at how quick it cooled the place off. It also cooled the entire apartment down. wasn't sure it would cover that much space. I would have given it 5 stars but the smart features are not all that smart and took a minute to link correctly.

Wow this ac was light and also came very quick. Easy to install and it cools very quickly and quietly and love that it connects to my WiFi so I change change the temp turn it on or off with my phone.

This window air-conditioning unit comes with a remote control. And I can control the time and change other settings. I purchased at a reasonable price. It is a bit loud but it works.

Cools the room nicely, very powerful, it has different settings and can be controlled remotely with Alexa.

The AC is just the right size, fit the window perfectly! It cools the area nicely. I would purchase again.

We bough this to replace another unit we ran hard for 7 years. That was a Chinese brand and we didn't feel good buying Chinese again. This one seems to work well but it is definitely louder than the old one. Our neighbors say this one is much quieter outside where they hear it. It runs in our upstairs bedroom 24/7. We didn't care about connecting to internet or anything so I can't comment on that aspect.

this GE ac unit works GREAT purchased it for my in-laws who live in my back house and it keep the bedroom and living space cool. Very easy to use it pretty quiet for being that size it is. I love being able to control it from my phone when I’m not home. I have the exact same one just small in my sons room and it also works amazingly. I highly recommend this brand and model.
