If you want quick cool down must change to cool.

Keeps the room cold and turns off when it reaches the set temperature.

However, if you are buying it for the remote controllability with the app you might want to rethink.

Smart AC

The basement is half underground the back side is hit by the sun most of the day and this AC has been excellent at keeping it cool. Being able to turn it on shortly before leaving work is very handy as well.

Good quality app is frustrating though

They changed the app that they used for the Wi-Fi/app controls. That was frustrating to attempt to figure out but not too bad once I got it done. Overall it’s been great and I even end up having to turn it off because my downstairs room will get cold fast and it stays that way.

This one fried up during a storm so make sure you turn it off during a storm. But over all was a great unit.
