Love the energy saving mode. It turns off when it gets to the temperature you set. Instead of running all day, when I'm at work.

To be honest,it works pretty good. I had purchased an Emerson not long ago and it lasted only 3 weeks. It was all around junk ! The only bad thing I can say about this GE is that it has a plug that you can remove to remove water buildup in the machine,but the instructions say removing the water will make it less efficent,so I've left the plug in,but it makes a mess on the outside,because the fan sprays that water everywhere outside. Also in my opinion nobody makes an window A/C like they use to. They all appear to be made with cheaper parts and more plastic. They don't want your A/C to last 15 or 20 years like they use to IMO....

Great air conditioner - remote doesn’t work so well; could just be a fluke though
