We are just starting our 3rd summer with this unit, and it is not pumping any cold air. Wishing we had gotten the extra warranty on it, but didn't think we would need to with GE. When it worked it was great!

Wi-Fi connection you have to get it when your on the road . Turn on the fastest to cool down your room.

This is a very nice air conditioner it cools my whole house.

Actually I love this unit! Plenty of cooling for the entire bottom floor of my condo. I also really like the home smart technology. I usually leave the unit set in eco mode while at work but schedule the unit to cool about 30 minutes before I get home. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the first one I installed was dead on arrival. No panel lights, no unit function at all. However, I commend Best Buy on their exchange process. Very easy and quick. No questions or forms to fill out. All things considered I'm very happy with this Purchase other than the second trip to the store and having to repeat the installation.

Bought this June 2020 to replace a Frigidaire unit. We had the Frigidaire for 7 or 8 years. Anyway I got tired of cleaning the Frigidaire. It would develop mold on the styrofoam ducts and the vents and stuff would build up on the blower fan and the evaporator would clog up. So I bought this to replace the Frigidaire. First thing noticed was it was a lot quieter than the Frigidaire and and to mold or evaporator clogging. And yes I cleaned the filters when the light came on. The only real complaint I have and why only 4 stars is the remote died 3 weeks after purchase. The new one lasted till the next spring and then it died to just after the warranty expired. The other annoying thing is the GE app. I've been changing our appliances to GE because of the wifi app. One big problem with the wifi app is only one phone can talk to the machines. If you try to add a phone it will lock out the first phone.
