We had the Frigidaire for 7 or 8 years. Anyway I got tired of cleaning the Frigidaire. It would develop mold on the styrofoam ducts and the vents and stuff would build up on the blower fan and the evaporator would clog up. So I bought this to replace the Frigidaire. First thing noticed was it was a lot quieter than the Frigidaire and and to mold or evaporator clogging. And yes I cleaned the filters when the light came on. The only real complaint I have and why only 4 stars is the remote died 3 weeks after purchase. The new one lasted till the next spring and then it died to just after the warranty expired. The other annoying thing is the GE app. I've been changing our appliances to GE because of the wifi app. One big problem with the wifi app is only one phone can talk to the machines. If you try to add a phone it will lock out the first phone.

Cools quickly and fully of a 500sqft office with multiple computers and printers that generate heat. Energy saver mode turns on and off as cooling is needed to maintain temperature.
